This is itv version of strict boss. They dont know subtle, realistic in itv. Sab kuch exaggerated hi hoga. Actually employers will usually relent for family emergencies especially if things are slow at work, but Sai calling it emergency in the morning itself and asking for an hour off on her very first day is not gonna go down well...it sucks that Sai has been put in this situation.

Yes, asking on her very first day was the problem. And for what? A kitty party.😔All professionals must be facepalming.

Itv mein kuch bhi bakwaas hi hoga. But I'd rather watch this than pp nonsense. I skipped it all. Dunno how people tolerate her onscreen.

I'm glad at least they showed Sai being uncomfortable to be asking for such favors or consideration and knowing its wrong rather than expecting that she can do anything per whims n fancies. And ultimately she is gonna be late for the function n realize what being a professional doctor means on day 1.

I genuinely feel for her because her position is very realistic for many women. My mom went through it. She was expected to be around n prep for ghar ke functions despite her work as a medico...

Sai ka day 1 hai and already shes under pressure to be around for a function at home with hostile people waiting to erupt at any misstep and boss hates her already...

It sucks that shes been put in this position by V and him hiding the truth. I dunno how he can assume Sai will get done before 3pm anyway...just coz its day 1 and V thinks it should be relaxed doesn't mean it'll work like that. Even regular non medical jobs are till 5pm minimum.

Not that the people home would grumble less if they knew everything but its gonna be worse now ..

Iss sab mein Sai buri phasegi. V seh i have no ummeed. If he genuinely takes a STRONG stand, I'll be pleasantly surprised. Does he have it in him to look bk in the eye and say- "my wife is a doctor. She will work. She has odd timings because thats the nature of her job. Deal with it."

Thats what he should say. But aisa hoga nahi.

I just hope he doesn't turn around n give Sai pravachan on work life balance or some crap.
