I'm also a Malayalee. My mrg was held in a mandir. There was nothing like these. Pandit came and gave the mangalsutra , varmala and sindhoor. Done everything infront of the idol. Took 3 pheras done. No manthru padna and all( It was arrange mrg )

So these grand mrgs are really a fairytale to me.

The way Akshu looked at him... pranali was brilliant in today's episode...her teary eyed look, the love for Abhimanyu.❤️

Akshu's expressions when they said "kanya ki behan" because she knew Abhi might be upset...and Abhi reassuring her...today HC and pranali were top notch with their subtle expressions..

That taunt to ar... Abhimanyu he just can't help it😂

Kanyadaan scene was emotional... Mayank and pranali share such sibling like chemistry...that onscreen it's hard to say they are not real siblings..

The flashbacks added to it..

Abhi holding Akshu's hand immediately, for comfort..

The above two scenes show how much they love each other.

The pheras...were really well shot, I wanted the song they played but never expected...I was pleasantly surprised...infact I loved the bgm of the whole episode..it was just perfect. I just couldn't have been better.

The way Akshu looked at Abhi throughout the episode with love and admiration...has my whole heart.❤️

Sindoor daan scene...the slight nervousness on Abhi's face or was it just me, akshu closing her eyes...the scene was so perfectly shot..

So, was the mangalsutra scene.

The saptapadi ritual well shot...but Akshu's vows...I understand her love for family... But it's like the girl is marrying the family not Abhi😂

Obviously a set up for next track...

Ps. Today's episode was perfect...every way.

The bgm, the acting, the way it was shot..perfect.

But one scene ruined the whole experience for me..ak filling Abhi's maang.

Yes, many will say, it wasn't exactly maang and equality and what not..

But why at the cost of mocking rituals, and yes, I agree the scenario here is not equal... Abhi loves Akshu more than she loves him. Do Abhimanyu Birla even needs to do something like this to prove his love?

Of you have problems with ritual, it's ok...go for court marriage, go for leave in....it's your wish..

Why twist rituals according to your ideas.

And some says he was jocking...no he wasn't, I saw the scene again he clearly said that he meant it.

The scene hurt my sentiments, as a hindu I am offended.

And even Abhimanyu Birla I was interduced, the man is traditional...if anything this guy would have made sure that everything was exactly according to rituals because that's who he is.

Maybe, I am overreacting but this just ruined the experience for me....reducing my Abhi into Akshu's lover...I don't recognize this man.. I was hoping that it's just his happiness for getting married but I am not sure.

I am taking a break for a while...I am too emotionally attached to the show and it's not healthy...maybe I might find this stupid after a few days but for now I am hurt.

Very well written Ridhi and I am offended with that scene as well..I don't think to prove your love we need to twist rituals or do show off. It should come from inside ❤️ love is a special feeling that is felt not displayed. I did not like that hash tags as well.

It's his pure genuine feelings for his life partner..there is nothing over board in it...it's my POV...It's not like maang she filled..she put tika near paghdi....

It's their personal thing....

Couples in reality do weird things privately, i guess 😆

Abhi is shown not to do anything secretly much....

He is fully and wants to fully take their marriage once in lifetime experience and he wants to feel the emotions they lived in the past and dreamt about it.

Riddhi...our loves teaches us to forgive so many weird things in our lives.
