Why does Arundhati reprimands Aniruddha at every opportunity she gets? Who's she of him now to give him a piece of her mind? When she was his wife, that time she didn't have any guts, now she's become an overwhelming person. She reminds me of yesteryear's serial "Rajni" where Priya Tendulkar acted like she owned the world. If meme's were around back then, her dialog "Tumhe meri baat sunne padegi, mein Rajni hu." would have had gone viral. :-)

Someone needs to remind the writers , (given the fact they seem to forget their own story) as far as the Annirudha - Sanjana marriage goes ..... Aniruddha never wanted to get married ....infact he had disappeared on his marriage day and no where to be found . Back then the mahan and the miss perfect Arundhati convinced Aniruddha to get married by giving him some moral crap about marriage and his responsibility towards Sanjans and his relationship......once again shows when relationships are forced under the pretext of responsibility this is what happens.....Even now same crap gyaan she is giving.....If Aniruddh has realises it's not going to workout with Sanjana its better to end this relation now........but no the mahan know it all Arundhati is the only one who will convince Anirudhha to hang on this marriage. Bet now the writers in the bext 2 - 3 episodes will try to clarify on these points and give some faltu logical explanation....once again why do need Arundhati to be involved in the Deshmukh family crap fest...post divorce she is just an outsider there like vimal or any other society member

So true... they should now rename the serial as "Aai Aata Khup Kai Karte Aahe". This serial and the other serial we watch is "Rang Mazha Vegala", in that too the main heroine is separated from her husband more than a year back (6+ years in serial) but just like Arundhati and she too keeps on meddling in her husband's life and his love life too.

Seems the Star Prawah channel writers are all the same writing for different serials, hence their stories match across.

Aru's kids are all grown up and she has an old mother to look after yet she keeps going back to Samruddhi to give unsolicited advice.

True....no women with even a fraction of self respect would behave the way they have shown Arundhati charachter.....the whole idea of the story was to show that how a typical middle cast woman emerges strong and independant when she faces betryal in her marriage of 25 years plus.....but sad to say this serial so far has shown everything else except that....Arundhati charachter still is not shown to lead her own life ....she still carries the baggage of her previous relationship ....and unfortunately its her own choice

You're right. And it's especially sad considering she now has so many people in her life supporting her. Sanjana was right when she said Arundhati hasn't really had to work hard for everything she has now. It's the people around her that are giving her opportunities while she constantly goes back to DIL and Wife mode. This idea that because she has been abused and cheated, the universe will ensure she gets justice by giving her eveything...😡. Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way. We never really get to see these women put in the work to make themselves truly independent. I wouldn't mind if Arundhati still sometimes thinks of her in-law's and 'what would they think' becasue it's years of conditioning. But like you said, she's always running to Samruddhi or dishing out unsolicited advice every chance she gets. So what if Sanjana wants to talk to her only - say no! These women have serious boundary issues. Unfortunately, this is what happens when the only world they have created for themselves revolves around their family.

True.....its a shame as a audience most of us have and ready for a new and different narrative ( this includes age group like my in laws,mother who have been housewife all their life and now in their late 60s..... even they can't relate to this crap they have a rant every now and then) ......but looks like our serial makers,writers still have a long way to go....for once i would like to see a lead who is not miss perfect.....she needs to be strong,independent and make her choices some right some wrong .......she can be some one who is a Me person....the concept that a lead in our serial is someone who is sanskari , thinks about everyone else always manages house and work is just so unrealistic .....even if someone wants can't do that in today's day and age....for once can they have a lead that is much more real someone who is grey.....like rama chaudhry in vadalvaat ......

When they change the narrative a play like 'Aai retire hotay' is written. I agree, it's completely unrealistic to expect Aai to be perfect on all fronts, at home and at work.
