I was already considering one forum for Politics / Current Affairs…do let me know who all would be interested in that. With the tagging feature it won’t be difficult to invite our friends on IF to the topic.

Everyone can see that moderators action was not justified. Many people left and many are on the edge of leaving this forum thanks to the bias moderation standards here.

Today, getting banned was less important to me than raising my voice.. If it wasn't today this outburst had to have happened some other day.

It is good to have a separate forum for politics /current affairs BUT Movies can't be dissociated from politics, they are a very important aspect of a country's soft power and also play some role in altering the social fabric of a country within. A lot of them have political undertones either explicitly or subtly.

If there are movies which have explicit political commentary in one form or the other, either provocative or otherwise, one can't expect to not have a discussion on those aspects or that they should be discussed seperately away from the Bollywood forum. If a song can be discussed, then the statement a movie is trying to make can also be discussed no matter how political it is, chaahe left ho ya right.

Politics is my favorite subject. I can have a civilized conversation with facts and FIGURES without baseless rhetoric and drama. But alas..
