Curiosity Question

I dnt know if this was discussed prior or no... And obviously logic is least applicable with ITV, but I have a doubt. Can anyone help me clear it?

Pagdandiya is a small village...... Everyone knows everyone.

Yet, a new guy comes from the village and befriends imli and she is not aware of him from the village. How?? Imli is a over social person and goes out of the way to help each and everyone... Then how does she not know this guy??

Also, he is apparently the new bad guy as per yh gossip section.

Also, the older track with a new millitant story, where the new AKT was introduced.... How comes the village people are soo naive and do not recognise anyone??
