Abhi doesn’t stop staring at Akshu on their entire walk. He makes her promise that she won’t go anywhere alone. He is so traumatized by what happened! She agrees, takes out the haldi piece, and makes him promise that their names will always be attached together. He is so happy. This scene was so cute… from him erasing her face from her palm, and her snatching her name from his fist… to now always hearing their names together!

The families have their individual celebrations to the yeh rishta title track. This scene was so freaking beautiful (minus Aarohi dreaming that everyone is dancing around her lol). The look on Kairav and Manish’s faces were so special. The highlight of this entire scene was Harsh putting haldi on Abhi, both of them smiling.. and then Harsh looking at Manjari and Manjari crying tears of happiness. The Birlas have a lot of problems, but at the end of the day, they do love each other. Harsh is toxic in so many ways, but he does deeply love Abhi. It was such a soft and vulnerable moment for all of them.

Aarohi comes to pick up the haldi, as it is the sister’s duty. Abhi doesn’t trust her, so he sends Neil with her. And, before people bash him, he is entirely right. She has “accidentally” messed up so many times by now, that even if she doesn’t have bad intentions, no one is going to trust her. Trust is earned, and she has done nothing to earn it yet. Abhi says exactly this to Manjari when she gets upset.

And sure enough, she is about to trip, but Neil saves the haldi from falling and says Abhi’s prediction came true. Aarohi might try to create a kaand, but Neil will save the day it seems. Neil says it’s his bhabhi, so he will bring the haldi.

Meanwhile, Neil gets a photo from Nishita that Akshu sees and the pool chundail is standing behind him, who is apparently Shefali’s friend. She gets so jealous and runs to the pool. Abhi senses her and smiles, seeing her face covered. They brought back the OG Udaipur music for this! Akshu blasts the pool girl and says stop looking at Abhi. She creates the cutest scene and also gets upset with Abhi for smiling for the photo. Everyone is so entertained!!

Mahima says this is apshagun, but Mimi says it’s all good, as Abhira cannot see each other’s faces! Everyone lightens the mood and decides to celebrate haldi together.

This sequence was SO WELL DONE. It is to mauja hi mauaja, but seems like they have been filming for it for the longest time! There are scenes of them dancing in virtually all of Abhira’s recent major scenes whether it be valentines day, kite festival, the proposal, etc!! It was PURE FUN!

Mimi asks Aarohi to put prashad on Akshu’s lengha. She gets there just as Neil does with prashad for Akshu, and Aarohi realizes the lengha is missing.

Meanwhile, Abhi and Akshu are complaining to Swarna and Manjari about how their faces are still yellow. They both want to look perfect for each other, and they are both being teased by their moms! This scene was so cute!

The precap is again Abhi saying Aarohi shouldn’t have been given the responsibility, and then he himself goes to find the lengha at some mandir where Aarohi also arrives. Let’s see what kaand is loading here!

Another fun episode. We get another scene of Akshara getting jealous and Abhi gets to witness it all out in the open along with the Birlas. So if there was any doubt about Akshara's love on Abhi this scene should clarify it 😆

Shefali quickly shifted sides leaving Abhi to explain himself 😆 If I was Shefali I would go speak to the friend and warn them not to stare at my brother-in-law and mind her manners. If she tries anything she is out of there.

Cannot believe how much they thought in advance for the mauja hi mauaja sequence. Kudos the choreographer Himanshu and his team.

I am confused at why Abhi is running to go look for the lengha at the mandir. Is there some rasam of getting the lengha blessed before wearing it? How do you leave a lengha behind? I hope the writers actually write something that makes sense and not some paper thin reasoning for this drama 😆
