He cannot be declared fit for duty again. From what I have researched, people with such injuries aren't medically fit. The army has a very high medical criteria.
Yahan par toh he has to use prosthetics. From what I have read, people who are on regular medication for literally anything (be it mental problems like anxiety or heart problems etc.), they aren't cleared since it's a very demanding job, both mentally and physically. He can preside over things, he can advise on things, purely on the basis of being an excellent commando, but he would never be able to return to active duty.
I am trying to make all 6 leads be explored. I am glad you guys are enjoying it. 👍🏼
He cannot get back to active field work for sure.
But the force does provide for alternates and use their services in other capacities including strategy, training etc., I believe. Hence I said.

It depends upon the type of prosthetics as well. Some prosthetics are easy to use, others are much more painful.
My grandfather used to hop around on one leg, usually and be seated on his chair most of the time.
So if Param has only one leg injured, it would be different, if both legs.. which I think you've shown, it would be a different story. I don't understand having prosthetics and not using them.

I don't think so when it's that severe of an injury... Strategy, sure, but only when needed, right? More like a consultant than an actual, on duty soldier. Training would require physical fitness because how would you teach drills if you can't show them?
I don't have a military background but that's what I think. I'm not sure. Sorry. There'll be places where Param guides the cadets and special agents but mostly, he won't be very involved in the actual academy work.
I am sorry if that's unrealistic but I set up the scene to my understanding of how the military works and from what I have read, I came to the conclusion Param would be honorably discharged from the military.

It's not that he doesn't use them. He does walk around, he does do all the chores. But he uses his wheelchair too. It's like a dual thing since sometimes, there are phantom pains and such and it's much more comfortable at times to move around in wheelchair than use prosthetics.
Again, no experience with these so I am just writing off what I got from the internet. Sorry, if it's unrealistic. I tried my best. 😒

If you're showing that, then it's okay! 👍🏼
It's not unrealistic, every person has a different experience. 👍🏼
But they can choose to resign, right? I mean, if they don't want to do a desk job?
I feel it would be hard to be able to deal with being in the same work place or same atmosphere when you aren't over it yet... I have plans to show or mostly tell about Param having a hard time accepting it and it's been a very slow and gradual process and it had taken him a long time to accept it and move on and be happy with what he has. [Accepting the happy and being happy despite it are two different things.]
I am sorry... I am just trying to understand how the military works and I am trying to give a realistic ff. Sorry for all the questions.
I said I want Koel Faizi, and all of them to be a slow burn for all of them, nothing rushed.❤️
Forgiveness is difficult, especially towards yourself. May not happen in a lifetime.🥺
Haan that's what I thought.
Thanks to Noe (I hope it's OK to address you that way) bringing in the topic, I was reading up on the net and it's quite a wide array of desk/alternate jobs/skill.
I can't remember which webseries it was, did show a veteran in weapon training and hence quoted (assuming they'd have verified).
