That case was only brought up so that the kid could blackmail Karishma Singh.

so I m halfway caught up with almost all the episodes I missed (except for the second half of yesterday's episode). I don't have much to add to what has already been said.

the only thing that confused me was haseena handing over the counselling responsibility to Karishma. was that supposed to be a joke or was she being legit?

if it was legit, my only question would be why? counselling isn't something that can simply be handed off to someone to carry out. I m pretty sure it's a field one has to specialize in and improve at over the years as they gain experience. just because Karishma has supposedly learned patience doesn't mean she can suddenly do counselling. that's simply not how it works. besides, that's one of the few things Pushpa Ji loves and can do without messing up too badly.

these past few episodes have had some hilarious moments (the quips, the fake belly scenes, Karishma oblivious to being carried out of the station when she was asleep, Pushpa ji's overacting). I think they are slowly trying to find their footing with recent developments. A for effort.

unpopular opinion: the phone call with Karishma and haseena was an eye-roll moment for me. Karishma doesn't need to prove anything to haseena or anyone for that matter. she took the lead and ran this station for three months when haseena was busy running after ehsaas wala pyar and playing hide and seek with them. she already proved herself capable of fulfilling responsibilities that demand her all. I m confused as to why she hasn't been promoted yet. and then madam malik is like, "we are very similar." no behen, you guys ain't. I agree with Sainath's point about Karishma wanting to say something else but choosing to stay quiet instead.

I'll finish up yesterday's episode and come back with my two rupees ka opinion on it.

Tbh, I was also surprised momentarily and thought that Urmi's soul had possessed Haseena and was just messing with Pushpa ji for fun but then it turned out to be actually Haseena 😆

But then I decided to think not like Haseena but as SHO Haseena Mallik, the station in charge. Now Haseena knows how capable her MPT members are and along with that she also knows their flaws and incompetencies. For example:

Pushpa ji: there have been many instances when Pushpa ji has had lost track of the counselling and has transformed from a responsible constable and counsellor into a helpless and tortured mother-in-law during counselling sessions or has randomly entered lalla ke pappa's la-la land. Also, there have been times when her counselling had also led to some serious repercussions for the MPT.

Karishma: Lucknow renowned for her temper and philosophy, "pahele mukka aur laat, baad mein baat". What more do Isay here?

Cheetah: By right and in most cases, he is the person who is supposed to be doing the counselling because he is the qualified women psychologist of the MPT. But our Cheeteshar Chaturvedi is usually either sleeping, daydreaming of Santu ji, following his Santu ji like a puppy, arguing with Billu or taunting Pushpa ji about her eating habits and complaining habits or he does all of them together.

Santosh: Uff yeh masoomiyat... Need I say more?

I find Haseena to be someone who is always trapped between the devil and the deep blue sea. She is the one who has to deal with all the sticky situations that arise in the thana irrespective of who the cause is. So with this perspective, I think Haseena was just trying to grasp the floating straw like a drowning person. She saw a change in Karishma with the latest case (even though we know it was a sham and she found out later too), she just decided to give her a try. Just like sometimes good bosses do rotations in the offices for professional development and to see how an employee does with the new/added job description given to them. I don't see any malice or ulterior motives behind Haseena doing this. I think she genuinely felt that Karishma should be given a chance at it. Also, Pushpa ji is close to retirement as we know so someone will have to take her place eventually, so why not start training someone now?

This is just an assumption in terms of the possibility of Haseena's train of thoughts. 😆

This entire thing was a filler as per my thoughts considering the ladies had been given breaks so my assumption for this whole phone call happening was to keep a KarEena scene in place. I completely agree with Karishma not needing to prove anything to anyone, not to Haseena and definitely nothing to Pushpa ji when it comes to her doing her duties. She has done a lot and if people cannot see that then that's their loss. And anyway, she is yet to receive appreciation for doing all the work in those 3-6 months when Haseena wasn't around or when she had become Urmila completely. Where is that darn appreciation from everybody? The ehsaas wala pyaar still cracks me up. Twitteretis are still asking for his return and it's not even to redeem his character anymore, it's for AnuSeena., and am like, ab bas bhi kar yaar. Let the guy get a successful show as a more prominent character. He deserves more consistency in his professional life and not work just for a few months per year.

I'll finish up yesterday's episode and come back with my two rupees ka opinion on it.

🤣this is so relatable di!! there was once i quoted Komal's post and spent my entire train ride (45 mins plus) typing out a response and the browser crashed. then I spent the next 15 mins of my ride listening to lewis Capaldi's emo songs in silence.

@ Bold: I think they needed to add a few scenes here. I still feel it was an act. Haseena wanted Pushpaji to understand that she doesn't have to be perfect at everything and that she needs to take on only as much as she can handle and she wanted Karishma to stop lying to her. I have a feeling Haseena always knew that Karishma had beaten the confession out of the fruit seller. But they never explained it so we're left at an impasse.

@ Red: It's almost like the CVs wanted to gloss over the fact that Urmi and the whole hard disk track ever happened. They literally took everyone back to where they were before that whole track.

Tbh, I was also surprised momentarily and thought that Urmi's soul had possessed Haseena and was just messing with Pushpa ji for fun but then it turned out to be actually Haseena

right?! even I thought it was just for fun. even later when she appointed Karishma, I thought she was just continuing the act (the credit for this one goes to urmilla cause I cannot tell when haseena is serious or joking anymore. the mannerisms in which she was first informed Pushpa Ji about this had me thinking she was kidding and trying to control her laughter.).

But then I decided to think not like Haseena but as SHO Haseena Mallik, the station in charge. Now Haseena knows how capable her MPT members are and along with that she also knows their flaws and incompetencies.

I agree to a certain extent that she does know their capabilities, flaws and incompetencies. but I don't think she truly understands them/or realises that they have grown (this is a whole other topic). but in this given scenario, I agree that she knows enough about them to make such a decision.

Whether she understands the responsibilities she is delegating is where I would digress and say, she doesn't. like I said earlier counselling isn't everyone's cup of tea. yes, it requires patience (hence she chose Karishma) but also a lot of other skills that even if Pushpa Ji doesn't display (lack of judgment, active listening, empathy, understanding non-verbal cues), I believe has (she wouldn't have made it this far in the field if she didn't). so keeping these in mind, I would have thought she would want to find someone else (a new character even if it's temporary) to replace Pushpa Ji when she does retire.

that being said, I do understand the entire thing was so the kid stuck to Karishma and the plot could proceed forward.

I can completely agree with this. the older she gets, the more she messes up (intentional? possibly). because in the earlier episodes she did do a decent job at counselling (i cant remember them XD but if anyone else does, please do enlighten me!). but recently, like ever since the mummy case, she has become a little more irresponsible and is constantly on Karishma's case, forgetting whatever is happening around her.

but she has grown up a lot. like the cricket boys weren't afraid of her bhukal in the slightest and she did handle that case pretty well in my opinion (it was blown out of proportion later but that was a misconception issue more than a Karishma issue.). so I guess even Lucknow knows that she has become a little more patient and perceptive.

NGL, I do wonder how he got his degree. but yes, it has become especial more apparent since urmilla came into the picture because I cant seem to remember when he actually did his job properly (save for when my masumiyat wasn't present in the last few episodes). actually, she should have appointed him instead so he wouldn't be so occupied with his ek tarfa pyaar ka bohoot.

this would have been applicable pre-episode 337. after haseena's death, there isn't a shadow of doubt in how much she has grown and become responsible, dare I say more than Pushpa Ji.

this is an interesting perspective. I am lowkey surprised the people of Lucknow had no time to come and protest outside of the station. maybe they all had gotten their jobs back from Bakshi Ji so now dont have time to do so.

I do agree that it looked like she had run out of options momentarily. so maybe appointing Karishma/anyone else for this case specifically was an understandable option. no harm in trying after all. I didn't have a problem with that. I was confused as to why she wanted Karishma to do counselling for all the other cases. like yes, it worked for this one, but why all the other future cases? (goes back to my point about the expertise required.)

Just like sometimes good bosses do rotations in the offices for professional development and to see how an employee does with the new/added job description given to them.

I will give her props for trying something new and wanting to give them more responsibilities. but which responsibility it is should also be taken into account. counselling, as I said requires a multitude of skills and if not done right can cause more harm than good (like we saw with Bunty). then again, she isn't wrong for wanting to try.

I don't see any ulterior motive behind haseena doing that either. until the last moment, I still thought it was a joke. Pushpa Ji will still come back to the station and try to be part of it despite her retirement 🤣

She did right. I even liked that tune they used during her scene.

that's a possibility too. all of haseena's behavior since she came back has been inconsistent so I can't tell when it's an act and when she is being serious. the buffalo case was especially confusing. so it could be real or that she trying to get a reaction out of them.

actually, I have a theory. maybe haseena does want them to confront and be mad at her. maybe somewhere deep down she is guilty and thinks that if she was punished/ scolded by them, she would feel a little less guilty. so that's why she jas been triggering them one by one. first Karishma now Pushpa Ji. maybe next would be cheetah.

I don't think they want to sweep it under the rug completely but they are threading lightly around the topic. we still see glimpses of urmilla in haseena. we still see Karishma pissed off about it. the only people who barely had a lasting reaction were the other four. so while this scene was a filler as Deepika di pointed out, I think it works as a build-up too.

maybe Karishma isn't trying to prove that she has become patient. maybe she is trying to prove that she is trustworthy. in the scene where she confesses to Pushpa ji about being hurt, she mentions how haseena didn't trust them. so maybe this is her way of trying to prove to haseena that she can be trusted. yukti expression when haseena was comparing them also seemed like she was annoyed/ angry. she dints even bother to counter haseena.
