Akshara’s choice is always Arohi

I’m an ardent fan of yrkkh! I have been in love with Kaira and specifically Naira’s character. The reason for continuing to watch this show is because Akshara is Naira’s daughter! Akshara as a Female Lead of a new show would throw me off in the first episode itself. I only tolerated her and expected some growth in her character because she is constantly compared to Naira or OG Akshara.

I genuinely don’t understand these characters and their graph anymore. In one episode they show absolute growth and next epi they are back to square one. I’m so confused with what’s happening. The chemistry and romance looks forced in between the tension. The big fiasco in mehendi function and 1/2 hr later they are laughing and dancing? For a min i can justify that saying it’s because of some decisions and choices made by Abhimanyu and Akshara but for how long?

Abhimanyu for the first time stood up and put forward a condition because her blind love towards Arohi is putting every person, relation and herself in jeopardy! Akshara has reached a level of obsession and craze that its cringy now. The scene that made me finally come to terms with it is the one where she is begging everyone to bring her Aru back.

This is just my observation that I don’t think Akshara chose Abhi because she wanted to and was finally making some serious changes in her priorities. I don’t want her to put Abhi first, I want her to put herself first. If you guys remember she collapsed when Abhi put the condition. She wasn’t devastated that she would loose Abhi if she chose Arohi, she wasn’t worried that Abhi would actually leave her. She was worried that Arohi will go away from her again. She only made the choice because Swarna in her own words gave her hope that Abhi will change his decision. She is still not understanding or accepting why Abhi put the condition. He doesn’t hate Arohi! He has nothing ro do with her! The condition was for Akshara’s own mental heath and happiness. But she is still only believing that Abhi doesn’t like Arohi and his hatred grew because of his mother’s accident. In one way it’s true but the major reason was to make Akshara realise.

Arohi is a puzzle that I don’t want to solve because I know the character is shallow! There is nothing there! She is a confused soul who doesn’t know what she wants in life. She says career is her priority but she abandons her carer the minute Akshara is happy about something in her life. She abandons her career priorities and runs behind what Akshara is happy about. It may be anything! She told herself that she will concentrate on her career now but no at the sign of trouble where she feels that she is not the center of attention in a good way, she cooks up something. She wants Akshara in her control to smoothen her life out. So she can just put the entire blame on her for the mistakes and stay in denial. Thats her safe space. And Abhi threatened it. The minute Akshara chose Abhi she was not able to accept that fact. She was sure that Akshara would chose her at any stage of life and in any situation. Every time her ego gets hurt or she sees Akshara slipping from her control she goes into damage control mode. That is the reason she left the house. She wanted to guilt Akshara into bringing her back into the wedding! I feel bad for Abhi now! Whatever people say the ball is still in Arohi’s court! She manipulates one person and everyone dances to her tunes including Abhi whose strings are in Akshara’s hands. I wanted Abhimanyu to stand on his words. But he changed in one episode!!!! I’m very disappointed!!

They must stop any references to naira since there is no naira in akshara. She is her own person n she is creepily obsessed with her sister.

I disagree. I don’t think she was ever not going to choose Abhi. She was worried about losing Aaru because the only choice she was going to make was to pick Abhi. She was not even questioning not picking abhi. She couldn’t even thinking of losing Abhi. She was upset about how that might mean that she was leaving her sister behind. She was going to pick Abhi no matter what but why couldn’t she mourn the loss of her sister too? She just needed reassurance that she won’t be losing her sister. Aaru was the most important person in her life until Abhi came. Whatever she is, whatever flaws she has, Akshu loves her unconditionally but even then, Abhi is above Aaru for her. That’s why despite Aaru doing everything to stop her, Akshu put her fear behind and told Abhi the truth the second she found out.

Even abhi was going to break the rishta no? He was questioning Akshu’s honesty….his mom had to put some sense in him. Akshu wasn’t questioning who she was gonna pick….Also today it was a lot more obvious who she loves “more”

Abhi told her Aaru can come and not once did Akshu even looked at Aaru. Instead she couldn’t take her eyes off Abhi and was looking at him with tearful eyes with a lot of love. Yes she was happy her sister was coming but she was happier about how much Abhi loves her and she loves him….she only went to Aaru once Abhi left.

I’ve always said Akshu’s love language is different than Abhi’s. It’s not as loud and visible but her love for Abhi is equal to Abhi’s love for her if not more. Everyone has a different way to express their love but it doesn’t mean it’s the wrong way.

"Losing her sister " - she wasn't asked to "lose" her sister. Only to keep away the criminal sister for 2 days from the wedding of the person whose mother she almost killed. The sister who also actively manipulated and purposefully destroyed evidence of the crime.

And Akshara was indeed questioning who she'll choose - she explicitly said "mein unn dono ke beech mei nahi chun paungi". She can't see right from wrong and was broken because, for her, a life with Abhimanyu is only as important as her sister attending a wedding. She was shattered because she had picked her arooo and was crying over losing Abhimanyu.

She got hope that he'll change his decision when Swarna said so, and only after that she went to the park. That too, after reassuring her criminal arooo that aroo's importance isn't reduced in her life 🤢

If Akshara really loved Abhimanyu, she'll automatically understand the extent of the mistake her sister has done, and will be able to appreciate Abhimanyu's feelings about not wanting criminal arooo in the wedding. Ulta she blatantly shows she has no value for human life by turning a blind eye to the accident and to the whole incident.

Akshara keeps taking Abhimanyu for granted every single day and he was questioning her honesty because she has only behaved like an accomplice to Arohi's crimes all along. It's like the story about the village boy and the bhediya. If someone keeps lying always, nobody will believe them even if they are truthful just one time.

And what he said was indeed true - even now, Akshara doesn't bother one bit about the gravity of the crime committed and has no value for human life. No respect for the feelings of her so-called love, whose mother was nearly killed.

As the so-called FL, that too an FL without any morals or ethics, Akshara has become irredeemable.

There's no need to drag real people into the discussion while talking about fictional characters.

But since you've made it a personal remark, I'll just point out one thing -

If anyone, not just me, if ANYONE AT ALL, had a so-called sibling who's a criminal and who's as pathetic as Arohi is, then that person has no business being amidst sane people. Whoever it is - even if it's someone's "jaan se bhi pyaare sibling" - deserves to go to jail for their crime, for hiding the crime, for purposefully destroying evidence after that (which is indeed a crime how much ever one may want to deny it), and for being such a disgusting person in general, which is what Arohi is.

In reality, what's right and what's wrong is independent of whoever anyone is - parent, spouse, sibling or friend. Of course, the fictional world operates very differently.

Aroooo is a DUI culprit here, and that's what was shown, and it's surely not the case that her only mistake was erring due to being scared at the moment of the accident. There are a lot of actions she took, and planned manipulation she did AFTER the accident day, which was all very purposeful, and with clear criminal intentions. Which was all shown! Arohi jaise insaan kabhi kisi ka sibling bann hi nahi sakti.

Anyway, anyone's sibling totally deserves to be away from people in general, and of course away from a wedding in particular, IF they are so manipulative, evil, and such an irresponsible spoilt brat.

If someone thinks they'd want their criminal sibling to attend their wedding, well, that's great. But not everyone is as crazy (as Akshara). At least, real people aren't insane like the fictional characters on the show. In reality, no one would even want to be within a 100 km radius of a so-called sibling like Arohi.

More importantly, in real life, people would realize, at least at some point, that they're feeding a narcissist's ego, and wouldn't so readily obliterate themselves and others around, like what the fictional character of Akshara has been doing.

Akshara turned a blind eye to morals and ethics here, apart from forgetting the value of a human life and brushing aside the incident and her arooo's crimes. Arohi's behaviour and actions are self explanatory!

can't agree more. After watching the epi, this is exactly how I felt about akshu.

What punishment did aroo get basically? She couldn't attend the mehendi , which she was watching from the balcony, intruded twice and also do shagun of a sister . Next day abhi had to give in to akshus blackmail as he knew there is no way out of this bhool bhulaiyan of goenka sisters. He had to oblige so that akshu is happy in her wedding . Actually he was stupid enuf to think that he can punish arooo. He can't , he won't he never will be able to.

Keeping that thought aside , akshu turning a blind eye to the accident is mind boggling . How she believes that it was just a mistake which is also ok bec manjari is fine and abhimanyu didn't cancel the wedding bec he is very good person 🤪 hit and run is a crime . Running away from the spot of accident is a crime . Destroying evidence is criminal . Akshu was the accomplice . Manjari might not see anything abnormal in it bec she is like akshu, but abhi could clearly see how disturbing it is for aroo to drag akshu in it , not let her check the accident site , lie to everyone , hide it , and also go to jail for aroo . Exactly! There needs to be a limit to everything naa. Akshara has become incorrigible, along with being impossible and insensitive anyway.

It's weird when the so-called female lead can't even differentiate between right and wrong, and can't ever learn from her own mistakes and previous similar incidents. There's no growth in her - ulta, she's getting worse day by day.

And for the bold parts - so perfectly explained!

Just imagine what would Akshara do if Abhimanyu had, by mistake, caused an accident unintentionally to bade papa or Kairav. Even if he apologizes, she's only going to abuse the relationship by calling it a burden, and she would have cancelled the wedding immediately. And sent him to jail without doubt.

One partner shouldn't always throw the other under the bus, and so easily ditch the other person in the name of family.

But here, arooo even actively destroyed evidence, lied, manipulated others, and did crime after crime. Even after all this, Akshara can't even see the seriousness of the issue that has occurred! So much for her big hypocritical lectures about family, love, and rishtey. Lol.

And she wants Abhimanyu to easily forgive and accept the criminal arooo who almost killed his mother. Wow. Such double standards of Akshara. She has one rule for herself and her arooo, and another different rule for Abhimanyu and other people.

Because she's become blindly obsessed and mentally unstable. The way she was breaking down over arooo not being in bed when she woke up was totally unhealthy. Akshara is the one who enables aroo's bratty behaviour by repeatedly covering up for every single mistake arooo does - big or small. Unconditional love doesn't mean literally closing one's eyes to the flaws and crimes of the other person.
