Array, it actually looks interesting (well, the 2nd half of the trailer atleast).

And they are going with a male version of Ami Je Tomar instead of another remake of Shreya's version. Good decision.

Might end up working.

Kiara was bakwaas, hope there isn't much of her in the movie.

Bhool Bhulaiya(2007) was a perfect amalgamation of horror and comedy....here the comedy seems fine but the horror bits just don't stand out!!!

Kartik isn't that bad though...I think he's pretty much in his element here!!!

The best thing about BB1 was that the film was hardly promoted except the title track. Not even any tease about Monjulika and Aami Je Tomar. Which made the climax look so good and excited in theatres. Don't think anyone would've judged it was Vidya and there's going to be a full on classical dance in the film (except those who watched the original).

According to me, yes! The story was fab, so was Vidya but what also adds to the repeat value of the film is those beautifully landed comic scenes. Ek toh Akshay was in his comic prime, where Akki just showing his batteesi would make audience laugh, and the whole vibe of it along with actors like Paresh Rawal just made the movie so much fun. I mean that "itna susu laata kaha se hai" has me in splits till date. 😆

Haan there is one thing, in today's day and age, there would have been controversies around the costumes in title track, use of word pagal etc. Woh kya bolte hai, outlash/outcry/netizens angry wagerah wagerah.

How are they gonna explain Manjulika being a ghost?

In part 1, Avni had dissociative identity disorder. Manjulika wasn't a ghost, she only existed in Avni's head.

Hopefully Akshay has a cameo, even if its in the title song ❤️
