Imlie sees Sundar's pyaar, and Aru doesn't get to see Arpita's love. Once Sundar proves himself to Aryan, and imlie learns to not project on Arpi, they will be on the same page.

The underlying issue is their own unacknowledged pyaar for each other.

Aryan was literally introduced as the guy who listens to imlie ,even if doesnt agree with her.
