From what I am reading here, looks like ULTIMATE BUTCHERING of Gaumbi's character happened.

I wrote something similar to his dialogue after the synopsis came out. I said that he will scold Shiva and ask him to not to give discount, so Dev an flourish.

But this is Choubays we are dealing with, they went 10,000 steps ahead and made him call Shiva, jealous of his brother👏👏

He doesn't care about keeping this family together. he cares about Dhara, Dev, Rishita and their baby, even Suman is not his priority.

Anyway it is useless to talk about the man who can't think for himself but is ready to do anything his wife says as she is the only one with brain in this entire world

In a nut shell, Gaumbi cannot think on his own, he misses Dhara, hence taking out the frustration on Shiva and Raavi as they are always the scapegoat.😔

Shiva is still emotional and says how can Dev open a store opposite to his own family's store

And here comes Gaumbi's answer

What a way to motivate your younger brother! You are very happy for one of them and you think the other one is jealous.

Gaumbi's brain stopped working when he started making nimbu paani, since then it doesn't seem to comprehend anything😕
