Why was Anisha introduced?

There haven't been any mention about Anisha since she left. I wonder why was the character even introduced. There weren't any misunderstandings between Abhi and Akshara as well nor was she an evil or negative character. The story would have progressed the same way even if she wasn't introduced.

Any reason you guys can think of ?!

Makers tried to introduce a track but it didn’t resonate so they wrapped it. There is nothing more to it.

They wanted to give some masala but the trps had dropped.

Also, I think that now she will be only mentioned when they will get another character opposite Kairav
