How dare he. How dare Aryan just leave her hanging after Arpita di had planned such a wonderful date for them. Who did he think he was?!?
The date had to be cut short because of Badi Ma. Damn that woman Imlie thought, but her akkadbagga was no less of a pain in the ass.
As she stood in the mirror taking off her earrings and thinking back to the moment they *almost* kissed, Imlie was fuming. Here she was expecting something and Aryan as always left her hanging.
Sure she wasn't as experienced as him but that didn't mean she wasn't willing to try. The moment he stepped closer to her, Imlie's entire body tensed as she anticipated his lips on hers. So many times she wanted to just reach out and run her fingers across his bottom lip. To lean in and just taste.
She'd seen the desire in his eyes many times and she was well aware that he wanted to as much as her. Why he was holding back though, was something she didn't know.
Lost in her thoughts, she heard the door open and in walked Aryan. She quickly snapped out of it as she watched him walk into the bathroom. She wasn't going to let him off that easy.
Quickly she moved her hair, covering her back completely. Then she smudged her lipstick and looked in the mirror. Perfect. Just as she finished she heard the door open as out walked Aryan in his black tshirt and grey sweatpants. It was time to put her plan in action.
"Aryan, I need help" She looked at him in the mirror as he looked up at her.
"What?"
This idiot. Was he being oblivious on purpose.
She reached up behind her moving her hair, exposing her back and the blouse ki dori he had previously helped her tie. Motioning towards her back she watched him carefully as his eyes grew curious.
"Help kardo humri. Dekhat ka rahe ho"
Aryan walked over slowly, still maintaining eye contact through the mirror. He carefully reached out pulling the dori in one quick snap. Before he had time to react, Imlie quickly turned around.
Her exposed back could be seen in the mirror as Imlie stood in front of him. Her back to the dresser she looked up at him.
"Hum woh-"
"What is it Imlie?"
"Hum woh kehna chahat re ki-"
"Ki, kya?" He took one step, practically closing all distance between them as his eyes moved towards her lips.
She leaned in close, as she slowly slid one hand up his shirt, up his shoulder. Instinctively his eyes moved towards her hand.
"Hum aaj woh-" she was staring directly into his eyes and she watched as he was growing eager to see what her next step would be.
"Woh? Saaf saaf batao tum kehna kya chahti ho?"
Leaning in even closer she watched his eyes got even wider in anticipation. Perfect. Right where she wanted him.
"Hum aaj bistar par soenge! Tum sofa par, kyun ki aaj hum bohot hi thakgaye hai!" Imlie shouted, snapping him out of his daze.
"What?!?"
As Aryan came back to reality he watched as she had already stepped away and was walking to the bathroom. Although he couldn't see her face, she knew damn well that Imlie was smiling.
"Jungli kahin ki" he muttered under his breath as he heard the door close.
He couldn't even fault her for leaving him hanging since he had done the same. But he'd have his revenge for this too. And this time koi baat udhaar nahi.
