man, today Sai gave him full on advice par phir bhi batti nahi chamak rahi. atleast he was listening and registering it.

I hate that Sai is taking the blame for family's reactions also on herself. I really wish someone points out what Sai went through. It was Mohit and Sam who started the ruckus and publicly announced him going to hotel. Until then Sai was only upset, angry, hurt but never insinuating he cheated until she saw him confess to signing as her husband, sign a birth certificate, saw him act as shrutis husband. Today she is begging Ashwini to forgive her but Ashwini's reaction is to say- that will happen only when V forgives you. That was cruel. I mean, if she really considered her daughter, she should care for Sai regardless. Ok, yes she may not be able to go out of the way because its awkward to be full on motherly to your son's ex wife but atleast she can have an independent equation with Sai. If every relationship in Sai's life is only tied by V then its like business, not family. Right now thats what Sai has. Sai rightfully called herself an oprhan. She has this "family" thats not really her family at all. And tomm if V forgives her and reconcile, that doesnt change the fact that they are still not Sai's family. they are merely tolerating her. Infact they have shown that they are not even V's family. they left him to his own devices when he wanted them to help because thats how irrational his behavior was. and today it sucks that the family and Sai and V are all blaming Sai for everything.

i dont think he registered that she called herself an orphan. he was upset and affected when she told him how his aai was hurt by his ignorance and how all of us will die and he could lose his parents tomm and he might regret not forgiving them and being with them

Word! This is what I felt. How can he be so distant. If not as a husband but as her well wisher and friend he should have hugged her.

i felt today when Sai was talking about death- it was very generic but V specifically was only registering it as death of his parents or his kaku and the oldies- not Sai. He wasnt affected by the fact that technically tomm even Sai could get hit by a bus! She was bringing in the whole "maa" angle too...so him being emotional was over that and not about the fear of losing Sai. Sai's appeal to him had her separate herself from the family. She was like even if you dont forgive me, forgive them. And I dont feel like V registered that Sai was referring to herself as separate from the family because thats her reality since day 1- she is NOT family to anyone. She adopted everyone including the ones who are downright nasty to her as her own and she is being made to feel like a 3rd person constantly. Everyone that has been nice to her has done so with ulterior motives or just for V's sake- shivani, mohit, devi, aai. everyone. No one has stood by her.

Contrast this to the scene with pp and Sairat when pp comes for bank work excuse and Sai gets emotional and says make your parents your nominee and then speaks about her loss. Watch NBs expressions there. He did that subtle head nod No...he didnt like hearing her call herself oprhan, and today he gives none of that.

The vibe he gives out is that he will swallow his pain to be mahaan and forgive all . Not of one, who has realized his mistakes in the kaand and who sees what Sai has gone through.
