For him, denial is self protection mode. Subconsciously he knows he loves her. But he's in direct denial unlike imlie who is not even subconsciously there I feel. yup he is n imlie is like hving some feeling but akt broke her self esteem n like she can't love anyone neither anyone can love her

And about imlie. She's not there yet. She's just beginning to have those feelings. It's a long way before she realizes. She's affected, sad at his words. She wants something but doesn't know what. Maybe she'll pass this journey more quickly than Aru and maybe they show her take initiative 👍🏼
