that's true. She left for America and didn't keep touch. I hate how itv shows mother's as bechari or vamp. Gg's aunt clearly didn't give her good values and didn't make her understand why her mom left. She's bratty immature and if this behaviour is also blamed on mother, surely aunt and dad did nothing
Haven't followed the story fully, but think FL's mother abandoned her in childhood or something, which is why she's rude to her.
And not 100% sure, but FL's mom is essentially the reason for the breakup of her marriage to the ML (she insulted them at some party I think, and the rest is guessable 😃)
But yeah, atm, if this is the proposed storyline, it looks more like Ghum part 2.
