Option 1 is my guess too.

A reboot promo would have been more specific that a reboot is coming, and the memory loss track promo would have been more dramatic.

Jokes aside, there's point of wiping Imlie's memory at this point at all...the impact on the story won't heavy like it would have been during her B/S days or maybe in the future when she's heavily into Aryan.

Option 1....I don't it's gonna be any reboot, memory loss...just a proper way to give send off to T family....a new start for Arylie

Believe it's to erase AKT and Ts and start life fresh with Rs..Even if AKT had gone, the fake apnapan of Ts were always dragging her back to them.. This is the only way to move forward..with her work-life and family balance.

I think it might be a reboot. With MV's exist, the T's chapter is closed. However, they have good ensemble of actors in Tripathi family. If we look at the logistics of the show, they might wanna retain some of the actors and recast them as new characters in the Rathore family. A lot of tracks were either rushed or left incomplete. With the reboot they might give Arylie a fresh start and progress the show with new characters and tracks.

Otherwise, I don't know how the story will move forward with just four key characters, i.e., Aryan, Imlie, Narmada, and Arpita.

100% first option.. it's a closure of imlie's story with Tripathis for viewers..

Not a regular commenter, but I do not know why I feel there is a hidden meaning in the promo

Like the narrator when said will she get a saccha hamsafar

Why this line, and what about aditya,

We who have seen the serial from beginning, know AKT was never a liar,

Do not bash, let me clear it

He has his flaws, anger issue, immature, not a quick decision maker, but never a liar to I'm lie

He has been always been truthful to her, this was the reason she fell in love with him.

If you see his confession he says I am a not good husband I know that, but who knows me in & out

She should misunderstand me.

So I feel there is something makers are planning, which is hidden.

Where as ASr is a good man but mind manupulator. Who knows how to read and control imlies mind.

Sachha humsafar doesn't mean a truthful man, rather means a partner in true sense, as per my interpretation.

And sorry to say this but AKT was a liar to Malini, and hence he's not been sachha humsafar to either girl (just an opinion).

Obviously, the promo leads to lot of speculation and all difference of opinion is welcome. 😊
