Krish was waiting for his little sister at the airport.His sister Akshara Dr Akshara Singhania was coming back after so many years today after her mami's continuous persuasion.Akshara stayed as far as possible from Udaipur.Years ago after Kartik and Sirat had died in car accident Aarohi had become uncontrollable due to constant panic attacks the Goenka family had decided to send Akshara to boarding so that they could handle and focus on Aarohi...Akshara had been heartbroken......even she had lost her parents....But they all acted like only Aarohi had lost her parents.....Sirat was her mother no matter anybody said.She had 2 mothers:Naira and Sirat.Her Mamu Naksh Singhania had intervened and he had decided to take Akshara away along with her Mami Kirti.Since than Akshara had turned her back on the Goenka family to the extent that she had changed her surname as well.
Manish had been a proud grandfather when he had learned from Kirti that Akshara was going to be take medicine as her profession.First Goenka doctor !! he had thought.....but the next moment he was flabbergasted that Akshara had changed her surname.....She was very much upset with all of them.........Manish knew they had always been more on Aarohi's side especially after Sirat's death but he also knew that the entire family had been unfair to Kartik and Naira's last nishaani.....So much so that she didnt even want to see their face......Aarohi too loved Akshara with all her heart but she was upset that her older sister didnt even want to see her face.....Manish had tried several times to call Akshara but she had never picked up his or anybody else's call....Kairav on the other hand was sandwiched between both the families.......he knew Akshara's anger was right but this family needed him as well.....But he was satisfied that Vansh,Krish and Vatsal were with Akshu.....
Krish finally came out of old memory walk as soon as he spotted his little sister waving at him.....Akshara hugged Krish tightly.....She had missed him and her entire family so much....especially her mami....Akshara loved Kirti and vice versa....Kirti had always wished for a daughter and even with all the tragedies god had granted her wish.....Akshara had not felt a mother's love since Sirat had passed and even with Sirat she sometimes felt different.....she didnt knew why.....But whenever she used to see her mother Naira's old dance videos she used to feel peaceful and content......Naira's voice used to make her calm.......
Krish (twirling her around)- Maine tujhe kitna saara miss kiya choti.......
Akshara (pouting)-Jaise maine toh aapko miss hi nai kiya dada !! I missed you guys so much.....
Krish (hugging her)-Agar itna saara miss kiya toh jaldi kyu nai aai......Itne saara time kyu lagaya.....?
Akshara (changing the topic)-Aab ghar bhi le chelege....Aur waise bhi yaha rehna mere job milne par depend karta hai.......
Krish (smiling)-Tumjhe job na mile aisa kaise ho sakta hai......Such a talented surgeon at such young age......Birla hospital will be lucky to have you choti....
Akshara (taking deep breath)-Dekhege !!
Kirti and Naitik were eagerly waiting for Akshara.Naksh was chuckling seeing both his wife and father waiting for Akshara like this.....No matter how much fun he made of them but the fact was since he and Kirti had taken Akshara away from Goenka House she had become the very reason for their survival......It was like Naira and Akshara Ma had came back together.....His sister had chosen Akshu's name very thoughtfully.After Naira's death this house had become like a cemetery...Nobody laughed.......Nobody smiled or celebrated anything.....He just wished his badi dadi and choti dadi had been alive to see Akshara.....They would have been proud......His father had just been living after his Ma and sister's death after little Akshara came back to their lives everybody started living again.....He knew his niece too was hurt and damaged but he was sure there would be someone who would heal her and her hurt.....
For Kirti Akshara was memory of her brother and her sister-in-law and Nanad Naira.....Akshara was much like Naira in most of things except her smile...Her smile was like her brother Kartik.....Her eyes......Kirti was every time reminded of Naira seeing Akshara's eyes......And her husband had said that Akshu's voice was like her maternal grandmother and name sake Akshara ma.Kirti just prayed that Akshu would find somebody who could erase all the hurt Goenkas had given her.Akshara's hurt and devastation regarding Kartik and Sirat's death had always been neglected in that family.
Kirti spotted Krish's car and called Naksh.........Akshara first hugged her Mami tightly.....She was her inspiration....
Kirti (cupping her face)-Hamne tujhe kitna miss kiya pata hai........
Akshara (on verge of tears)-Aap sab toh aate hi rola dooge mujhe.....
Naksh (hugging her)-Ha toh kitna time laga diya aane mai......Toh phir saara quota saath mai.....
Natik (hugging her next)-bas aab kahi nai jaane dege tumhe beta......Arre bhai hamare saath bhi toh thoda raho......
Akshara (laughing)-Nanu agar job mila toh reh paogi warna short vacation mana ke wapas.....
Naksh (putting his hand on her head)-Kyu nai milega.....You are ver good at what you do Dr Akshara Singhania.....Itni acchi surgeon ho......
Akshara (nervously)-Jo mera interview lene wali hai woh bhi bahut hi acchi surgeon hai Dr Mahima Birla.....(looking at Kirti)-Mami mai wapas sirf aapke liye aai hu.....Nobody else.....Aapke logo ke alwa waise bhi mera yaha kuch nai hai......
Kirti (teasing)-Ho sakta hai tumhe yaha koi mil jaye.....Ho sakta hai tumhari yahi manzil ho......
Akshara changed the topic stating she needed to freshen up.She freshened up quickly and went downstairs to be with her family....She noticed some noise downstairs but couldnt hear who it was clearly.She was stunned when she went downstairs.....It was her siblings Aarohi and Kairav.Akshara became emotional for a minute seeing them but she cleared them out very fast.She didnt hate Aarohi infact she had no hard feelings against her but she wanted to keep her distance from both of them.Before she could react Aarohi suddenly hugged her....Akshara was very hesitant to respond to the hug......And in the end she didnt.....Kairav could see his little Akshu had changed....Next Kairav hugged her but this time she responded lightly.....Aarohi was heartbroken.....Akshara hugged Kairav lightly....Her older brother....Naksh could see the emotions in Kairav's eyes.....The emotions he had when Naira had returned from Rishikesh....
Kirti (inviting them)-Kairav Aarohi why dont you join us for breakfast....Akshara chal aa jaa......
Akshara (nodding)-Ji mami....
Akshara sat next to Krish,Vatsal and Vansh.Krish and Akshara started talking about her upcoming interview.Aarohi and Kairav looked at each other and smiled.Their sister was going to stay.Naksh too chimed in Akshara and Krish's conversation.....
Naksh (inquiring)-So they already have a fetal and neo natal department ?
Akshara (smiling)-Yes theirs is the biggest in entire India.....Its very technologically advanced too almost on same level with the Seattle one.....
Krish (curious)-Itne tiny babies ke saath karne mai darr nai lagta tujhe....And pregnant complicated patients too.......So tiny babies...
Akshara (explaining)-Jab mai internship kar rahi thi tab sometimes I used to get bit scared seeing their condition but residency khatam hote hote you get used to it......Dr Mahima is very strict surgeon.....
Naksh (smiling)-You are the youngest of your batch to complete your residency......Be confident.....
BIRLA HOUSE
Mahima walked downstairs ready for breakfast.She glanced at her watch once more and her husband couldnt resist asking.....
Anand (chuckling)-Bhai baar baar ghadi kyu dekhi ja rahi hai ?
Mahima (explaining)-I have to take a surgeon's interview......Hamare fetal and neo natal department ke liye.We have lot of candidates but I have one jo bahut hi intresting hai.....Her name is Dr Akshara Singhania....youngest in her batch to complete her residency....She has been working as attending at Seattle hospital for 2 years......Her mentor had nothing but fantastic things to say about her.....
Anand (curious)-Seattle se yaha job ke liye.....?
Mahima (explaining)-Her family is here....
Manjari came along with the staff to serve breakfast.....She looked over but her son nowhere to be seen.....He had came late at night from his duty and had slept without eating.Mahima signaled her to calm down.Her husband Harshvardhan came down to have his breakfast followed by Dr Abhimanyu Birla......He was a cardiac surgeon by profession and loved his mother a lot...He sat next to his tayji....Harshvardhan sat there sadly looking at his son.....Yes he had made a mistake but there was not a day where he didnt regret it.....
Abhimanyu (smiling)-Aaj koi bada interview Tayji ?
Mahima (smiling)-Yes one.....
Abhimanyu (guessing)-You are already thinking of giving the job to her ?? Aapko itna khush kisi ka resume dekh kar hote hua nai dekha hai maine.......
Mahima (curiously)-I think she might be it.....She is young,qualified and at a very young age....And from what i hear very professional......
Harshvardhan (proudly)-She belongs to one of the biggest families of Udaipur.
Abhimanyu (with the biggest frown)-Did she say that jab aapne web pe baat ki thi usse tayji because if that is the case........
Mahima (calming her nephew down)-She didnt even mention she belonged to that family Abhimanyu.....Calm down.....Koi influence use nai kiya usne.......
Abhimanyu (angrily)-Sir surgeons families dekh kar nai appoint kiye jaate.....education,talent dekh kar hote.....operating on a man or woman's body is not a joke......aur yaha toh baat babies aur pregnant families ki hoti hai....
Manjari tried to calm her son down but no use.Her son Abhimanyu had grown up before age when he had learnt about his father's affair.He hated his father.Point blank.No apologies trying to fix his mistake helped Harshvardhan...Abhimanyu continued to hate his father and didnt even spare the man a glance.Abhimanyu was cordial with everybody in the family except Harshvardhan.....And it pained Harshvardhan.......Abhimanyu took off to go to the hospital......
Akshara started to get ready for her interview....She took out a pair of half formals.....She needed to look good.Finally when Kirti walked in to check on Akshara she gave her thumps up....Akshara tied her hir up in half pony and took off with Krish for the interview......When she got down at the Birla Hospital Krish hugged her and wished her best of luck.....Just as she was looking for Mahima she crashed into Abhimanyu who caught her at the right moment.....Abhimanyu's files flew over....Abhimanyu looked at the girl in his arms.....She looked so beautiful with her eyes closed in fear of falling.....She was absolutely tiny fitting in his arms perfectly.......Akshara suddenly aware of the situation opened her eyes and ohh Abhimanyu looked her big confused eyes.....Her tiny hand fisted at his shirt.....
Akshara (whispering)-Umm app chod sakte hai mujhe please.....
Abhimanyu (absentmindedly)-Umm nai.....
Akshara (stunned)-What ? !!!
Abhimanyu (bringing her back up)-I mean agar aise chodta toh aap neeche gir jaati na......I am so sorry....Mai woh papers mai dekh kar chal raha tha.....
Akshara (apologizing)-I am sorry meri wajah se aapke papers....
A Nurse (calling Akshu)-Dr Akshara aap hi hai na.....Dr Mahima ne bulaya hai......
Akshara (nodding)-Ji chaliye......
Akshara left with the attendant.Abhimanyu was looking amused.She was Dr Akshara...Ohh...
