Yes - that's what my point No.2 says - that the song has to appeal to general public. ( big label and the number of subscribers they have - will give you visibility on YT ). Like Tseries - with their 213M + subscribers, have maximum toppers in trending.
Sometimes that's not the case. Like SMP's Telugu song didn't do well even though the channel has 24 million subscribers.
Salman Ali's worst performing song on HR's channel has 8 million views where as his cover of Yaad Piya Ki with Sneha Shankar has just 1 million views on a big channel like Zee Music Company.

I'll try and fix some.
Tbh even in channels with huge subscribers, the views are shady. A lot of these songs play as ads. Just now Bacchan Pandey album had more than 10 million views in a single day and just 20k likes.Most of its songs were barely relevant after a week.Instagram reels are probably the best option to make songs viral. If you want to look at a genuine hit album Pushpa is a great example. The songs started with 1-2 million views in a day and became bigger and bigger. Months later they are still #1,#2 in YouTube ranking.
