I don't understand why people have a problem with her complaining, or merely mentioning the fact she was treated poorly.

If I was treated poorly by a brand or fellow celebrity, I'd like to think I have every right to mention it as and when I see fit.

Why would I stop to think "oh my god I wonder if those boys and girls in India Forum will mind that I made two complaints this month, let me keep my mouth shut"

Actors get free clothes for events which they return back to the designer.

my parents went to Mumbai to shop for my sisters wedding.. they had booked appointments with almost every high end designer in Mumbai. The thing is they go shopping like typical Americans. Americans roam around in sweats at shops. They went to Sabyasachi as serious buyers. My dad told my sister since weddings only come once price wasn’t an issue, for any wedding dress or jewelry. They were in sweats. Two ladies came in with slightly more professional attire on. They had discussed in front of my family that they were just there to look around they weren’t going to buy anything. Without giving my family any customer service. All the workers of the Sabyasachi paraded the two ladies.. even offering them coffee and tea. So there are snobby people who might refuse you right away since you don’t look like a serious buyer. My family obviously decided not to buy anything because of the snooty attitude they got.. I normally never share this story. But because I want to prove there can be issues other than she didn’t get the lengha for free. My parents obviously didn’t want anything for free.

Anycase this is too many complains at once. I wonder what happened to Yami? She use to come across as this sweet, docile, polite girl ! She is discussing in recent interviews that she is doing a lot of movies now and getting some great offers. This is her career high she worked for so many years. I wonder if it is getting to her. Or this is just anger she has been holding in for so long . Something is definitely up with her.

It’s not that it is wrong! It is just not like her. I so I wonder if she is going through something behind the scenes ?

What's going on "behind the scenes" = she's literally telling us, but we're out here saying "this is not like her"..

Pehle chup rehti thi isliye ab bhi chup rehna chahiye. 😆 ye to nahi sochenge ki shayad bandi me ab confidence aa gaya ho apni baat khul ke bolne ka. I remember she was trolled a lot for her traditional hindu attire in her marriage. Maybe she has learnt to give it back now.

Well I would say it was the designer’s loss. Yami and her chiseled featured face with her tone body can make a lengha look at least ten times more beautiful. Not a lot of the nepotism muses have that ability. Probably one of the best muses a designer can find after Shraddha or Katrina.

Good job yami for voicing for the atrocities happened with you. Go on sassy the yami gautam dhar 👍🏼👏.

Trolled for her attire? IMO she looked lovely.

Till she was this sweet, docile, non complaining lady it was all fine with people. The moment she started saying all is not well in the big happy BW fraternity she is called a whiner.
