FK came into this show 300 episodes in with so much uncertainty around his character and longevity. But Imlie is a great show even for a cameo because it is doing so well, and is in top 5 consistently. You are supposed to utilise and prove yourself in the chances that have been given to you... but when you don't in an industry as volatile as the television industry your are bound to be cut.

I am still not sure if he is leaving or not, but the lack of humility, the constant digs at his costar and of course his sheer inability to emote is pissing me off.

Why on earth did this casting take place then .. what did the makers have in mind for the ckt .. didn’t they foresee this , with his limited acting capacity…Or were they thinking like how they got lucky with FK, the same would happen with him too … however that’s an unfair comparison.. FK has his theater background and various stints to back him up .. what did this guy have to show for himself

@bold - this is what boggles the mind .. kya phoonk rhe the makers when they decided to cast him .. his audition couldn’t hv shown any more range than he has displayed so far .. which is not much .. unless they say ki ekdum Nawazuddin Siddique ho rakha tha banda audition mein, so we HAD to cast him 😐

I think they cast him because he had played a stalkerish role in his previous show and must have behaved like a real human being instead of Pinocchio trying to behave like a human for the very first time. And that was good enough for where they were headed with the character.

There's so much potential for AKT as a negative character but this dude's craft has devolved from below average to ridiculously non-existent. Dude! You're getting paid luxuriously for doing absolutely nothing and instead of being grateful or ashamed you're fanning your hateful fans' vitriol.

Probably no one has told him, so let him tell for the first time : His PR team is detrimental to him, this crusade that he's got going looks disingenuous and orchestrated because that's what it is. There's nothing to root for in his crusade because there's little substance in it. The audience (and other producers) can see the distance between his efforts and his paycheck + claims.

Anyhow, good luck to him and his well-wishers.

After being graced with such avant-garde acting as this for months, let me tell you I was very moved, moved to turn off my tv, that is!

I have no problem with people who can't act cos we all can't be talented but please don't bring such clownery to the table, and then have the audacity to take digs at people who hold more talent in the tip of their pinky finger than you, and then play victim card once you don't get the imagined praise and more screenspace. You gotta actually do something (anything in this case) to be deserving of that. Chup chap se, take your money and be grateful that you even landed a job!

The fact is that the actor was perfect for this character. They both embody similar characteristics. Ego, self victimization, shaming, tunnel vision, expectations of praise with minimal input.

I, for one, think we lost the perfect non-actor. We actually lost the real AKT.

Le sad.

How will we get over this? 😭
