You caught that too? That bothered me so much.

Like she was blaming herself and this guy came out and gave a lecture about truth and all, but didn't try to make her stop taking all the blame...

Just why:?

I may be able to provide some perspective. The hype for a lot of the Adilie fans was really the dynamic Sumbul and Gashmeer created together on screen, and what they managed to create inspite of an extremely problematic story line. I do want to mention Mayuri as well, until before the nonsense of her turning completely negative. No doubt, Adi's characterization was not that of a good person, but I think within the boundaries of how they decided to write the story and how they wrote the character, Gashmeer did a splendid job, and along with the powerhouse of talent that Sumbul is, a lot of fans rooted for the pair!

Believe it or not, I actually do get the hype for AdiLie. I mean, you put a serious male lead, serious to the point of grouchy, and you put a sunshine female lead, who is just that self-sacrificing, and boom, you get a pair people automatically root for. This is ITV, people watch it because it portrays, to a degree at least, what they cannot have IRL.

I don't get the hype of Aditya Kumar Tripathi. Yes, GM did a splendid job with an half-ass character, but I see people being devoted to the character too.

No offence, and I'm sorry for bringing ASR into this, but on top of my head I could name some episodes in which his character has inspired me.

I want to watch that from AKT. AdiLie is a kind of thing that I don't understand but get. Aditya Kumar Tripathi's character I neither understand, nor get.

I don't want to watch AdiLie. I want to watch Aditya Kumar Tripathi.
