Akshara needs to take a side..

Akshara's Character is like a pendulum that keeps swinging from aarohi to abhimanyu..

Akshara was introduced as a Character whose world revolves around her sister aarohi..akshara left home for 3 years just to pacify aarohi.. goenkas wanted her to come back but she never listened..kairav had to finally trick akshara and he lied to her that aarohi called her back and only then akshara came back to home..I mean how ridiculous 🙄..akshara didn't value goenkas and kairav's love and only cared about aarohi's approval..

Then aarohi again asked her to go back and akshara agreed and only stopped when arohi lied to her that she was joking just to impress abhimanyu in udaipur..

Then poor abhimanyu came into the picture..who apparently committed a crime by falling in love with akshara..akshara kept on rejecting and hurting this poor man just because her dearest aarohi wanted him..I mean how unfair it is to abhimanyu..akshara used abhimanyu like a commodity and tried to trade him with aarohi because she wanted to win over aarohi..that was a selfish move

Akshara's submissive and doormat nature is the biggest reason behind arohi's psychotic and abusive behavior..arohi keeps on disrespecting her and akshara tolerates it and never takes a stand for herself..akshara is arohi's elder sister but seems like aarohi is the boss as she dominates akshara all the time and akshara is SCARED of aarohi..

Akshara never tried to correct arohi's wrongdoings and blindly supported her..and she even hides about arohi's kaands from goenkas who are their family and have right to know about arohi's medicine overdose and driving..akshara didn't even tell about arohi's MD exam to goenkas..that's not what a good sister does..

Then akshara took a complete U turn on arohi's wedding day and ran away with abhimanyu and stranded aarohi in her bridal attire and arohi was badly humiliated..

And now again she told arohi that she won't tell anyone about the accident but she told about it to abhimanyu..

Akshara needs to take a side..she can't keep everyone happy..she needs to decide whether she wants to support arohi or abhimanyu..

I wrote this post because we have done a lot of discussion on arohi Vs abhimanyu but Don't discuss much about akshara who is equally at fault..infact akshara is the one who has the bigger share of fault ..if only akshara took right decisions instead of worshipping aarohi a lot of mess would've been avoided..specially aarohi abhimanyu marriage mess..

I feel so far it's only Akshara's character who has seen a growth in her arc followed by Abhimanyu. I can see these two characters grow. So I would like to give Akshara some time before being so harsh. At least she takes accountability of things where she goes wrong.

Aarohi's character is quiet stagnant. Rather it's hitting new low by the day.

I don't think that Akshu worships Aarohi, and I don't think that she ever has in the past either. Rather, she is the victim of years of emotional abuse, blame, and manipulation from Aarohi. And throughout the show, we are seeing her slowly come out of that abuse. We are seeing Abhi's love being strong enough to make her see her own strength and power. That is why, slowly, but surely, she is learning how to speak up and stand up for herself. I don't think this type of change can happen overnight neither in reality nor in ITV... not in reality, because this type of abuse can take years to get over or it can even haunt you over your entire life. And not in ITV, because then there would be no story left to show.

Akshara's character growth has been amazing..and she has definitely started speaking up for herself NOW..

But I still feel that akshara gave too much importance to aarohi in the past...she kept on chanting to herself that only aarohi's happiness matters..akshara should've distanced herself from arohi..but instead she kept running after her..

Akshara rejected abhimanyu for aarohi's sake..and that was not justified..Akshara's blind love for aarohi is extremely harmful for her and she's not realizing it..in mandir card pooja also akshara started defending arohi and said to abhimanyu that she knows her aaru well but in reality akshara has no idea of aarohi's evil intentions

I really hope akshara's character graph keeps going up from here onwards and she gradually comes out of aarohi's toxic influence..

Meanwhile I don't see any progression in aarohi's character for a long time..aarohi will be toxic for a very long time and aarohi's redemption will only come at the end of the season..till then she'll destroy a lot of things

Good post. I think Akshara these days is balancing thing well but I do not understand why she gives a damn to Aarohi. It's very clear after confession she is out of Sirats death guilt. In today's generation no one takes that nonsense. If I have a sister like this, I don't think I will become victim of her abuse especially when you have family support. But she is female lead and TRP aunties need to sympathize with her and cry.
