More of a filler episode. A couple of scenes could have been shorter.
Felt the most for Hikmat and Sheherzaad.
Haji's distress proves that he is not the criminal Hilmand thinks he is. Haji might have bought the poison, but it does not seem like he poisoned Hilmand's father. That does not mean he is all "doodh ka dhula" 😆
Hilmand's friends...can I get a group like that?! ❤️ So loyal to their Khan! But the way they fled when Haji gave them the death stare...gold 😆
Zargona realising her mistake today shows she aint the villain too. Zarsanga is definitely sus. I feel there is much more to be revealed about her character. Something genuinely does not seem right.
Hilmand though...why all this zid of standing up, pagal insaan Now I hope once you are better you clear your brother's name and reconcile with him. I am sure you know it was Mastaan since you grabbed his kadha.
Hopefully Badam Gul will be of some help since he knows it was Mastaan. Gul Meena too knows its Mastaan, I hope she comes on board too.
Now that you think of it, both Badam Gul and Mastaan think of Gul Meena as their daughter. But only one of them is right.
Mastaan has some serious issues, getting out of one situation and creating a new one. Harshali, you better find yourself a new man, this one's priorities are all over the place!
Now coming to my two favourite bits from today:
Up till now, I could not understand Sheherzaad because it did not make any sense why she left her life in the city and moved to live a totally contrast life in the mountains with a Pathan family. But seeing her today...I got it. She's lived such a lonely life, and was even sexually abused, which I doubt she shared with anyone except Zarsanga.
Today I saw that she had finally found somewhere to belong, a family which she longed for. Sometimes all the success and money in the world means nothing if we don't have anyone to genuinely share it with
Of course her moving so abruptly was unrealistic, but I felt her loneliness when she cried for Hilmand at the hospital.
Kubra really nailed that scene though. 👏
Hikmat well...what has the poor guy done so wrong that the entire universe is conspiring against him?! All he did was love a genuinely sweet person, whom he wanted to make his wife. First he was put into a corner, and now a murder accusation throughout the village. His own father does not believe him. Now if he takes on the role as the villain...can you even blame him?
That scene of a distressed Hikmat finally breaking down at his intoxicated mother's feet, unable to tell her what had transpired was the true highlight for me.
Are you sure you are two-shows old, Zaviyar? What a performance! I was waiting for a small slip, but you were freakin' perfect in every frame! 👏❤️
