Hope, like MS they don't fool viewer's by showing Anuj. GK never said that he is part of prequel. He only congratulated them. So obviously he is not part of it.

Also, Anu is 28 years old, so we won't get even the college part of Anuj, that is also out. And this also means no Kavya, as the motive is anyways to give clean image to TrashRaj. Don't be surprised if we see a mellow supporting trash and baa, complete opposite to what is shown in serial.

I would ask people to just watch first 2 episodes of the original serial to see real Baa and Trash. Bapuji there could not even say, let my beti eat breakfast, clothes can wait. Anu ki Baa uske figure ka bahut dhyaan rakhti thi, by not allowing her time to eat only. And physical exercise by making her run to touch her feet on her jhoola ...kitna pyaar tha.

On second thoughts, they are more focused, they know what they want and are least bothered about other things. Accordingly, they are interested to see prequel too.

Prequel promotion by the makers is a cheap tactic. Everyone loves Rups ka dedication so obv they are using her as the face and are now promoting it as her story because they know that no one would be watching it otherwise. So well that’s that. They may get viewers - whether in good numbers or not is yet to be seen. But going by their fitrat, don’t think they really care!

Btw, in yest episode when Baapuji mentioned about 17 saal pehle etc etc .. tabhi I got a whiff of prequel ab shuru karenge
