I understand what you feel for Laapata. Its good it got the "extra" attention, even if it didn't necessarily translate into TRPs. Lets not compare it to Berukhi and Baddua lol, those are not A-list 😆 AMEK and IeL were better comparisons 😆

Yes yes, i think it was expected to be different and not a cliche when the teasers went on air. In fact, it did have a good story in the beginning. But then it really slowed down for the longest time, recently took wrong turns and what not. And now especially after taking the fake harassment angle forward in the story, people were calling this show out. Basically the show turned out to be a disappointment.

Btw, bilal was first approached for hum tum (ahad's role obviously). But he let it pass. Which makes me think maybe hum tum isn't so great. 😆 but then bilal agreed to be part of fake harassment shows back to back (dunk and dobara), so cant take his judgement seriously too either. 😆

@bold: Yeah that is the exact point. If the audience gets confused then they'll stop watching. Like when people watch a show like Chupkay Chupkay, they know its gonna be an all out entertainer, no brainer and fun comedy. If they watch a Sang-e-Mah, they know either they won't get it so don't bother watching it, but the ones who do will stick till the very end. Then there are shows like Deewangi, which is basically an all out romantic drama with a fantasy-come-true hero...again, it delivers.

Laapata unfortunately didn't.

Hum Tum might be a good show on paper or maybe even the script is good, but looking at the teasers...idk man. Maybe Ahad wanted to do something light for a change, after the divorce and all. The fandom isn't making it easy on either of them.

To answer your question about the telecast of the first episode, i guess the first roza will be on 3rd for the indian subcontinent. So maybe it will be then.

Chaudhary and sons ka humour loud hai na thoda? And im doubtful about ayeza and imran's chemistry 😆 there are also too many old funny characters here. That will either be a hit or a miss. Compare it to the other two shows, they have a lot of young characters and stuff, so they might pull in more youth crowd. Yes, paristaan's couples are very interesting. That would be one heck of a thing if they pull it off with all the couples

And do you remember galaxy lollywood saying danish too was approached for Chaudhry and sons. I think based on teasers, imran suits the character and the play better than what danish would. I somehow imagine danish in a hum ramzan plan than a geo ramzan play.

Yes it is loud, like Housefull. But thats massy comedy which lots of people enjoy. You know those keep-your-brains-at-home. Basically it gives me 2010s Bollywood vibes.

Looks like Geo is trying to target the seniors? Youth usually watches Hum whereas TRP aunties watch Geo. Could work na. Ayeza is anyways loved by all age groups so uska koi scene nahi. Imran looked better to be in this compared to his other shows.

Btw ye log sheher chodhe hai ki desh? Coz ek teaser mein pucha tha na dono ko, ki Pakistan kab aaye. I think Ayeza's character is from Hyderabad...ab kaunsa wala idk 😆

Umm regarding the dramas ramzaan wale.

Idk the teasers of chupke chupke were also not that impressive to me. Lot depends on other characters too. In these plays other characters and leads are equallg imp.

I some how still feel hum wala zyada chalega. I think ayeza ka kaafi repetitive hone wala hai, one ramzan show after another and no they are not seasons also. So people might like to watch something fresh. The heros and heroine are fresh in hum tv one like these jodis kabhi nai hui hai.

Ishq jalebi was flat in front of chupke chupke though, let see.

Aymen arslan wala bhi half hour show at 7. Justlike alizey and that ali zafar ke bhai ka jo show tha. That was a cute one. Happy and light. Ye aymen arslan bhi waisa hoga.

Hum tv ke teasers humesha hi bekar hote hain to be honest. Koi bhi show lelo. Not just these. 😆
