She did create a lot of hype for Geeti but it fell flat...the show was a dud.

C&S looks much better but I think she's trying not to over-promote it like last time.

I think ayeza was excited about her character more than the show here and promoted it in that sense. She got to dress up a lot and get creative and stuff, which she loves doing. Which was why she got into it in the first place. Khizer idrees in his interview said that in the script it was written that geeti was a tik toker. Thats it, nothing more to it. uske baad ayeza was the one that added all the elements to geeti and executed it.. the character was also grey. And i feel, the show was exactly what the makers expected it to be. It was a trial with a new genre and they weren't looking for a mega hit or something with this one.

I dont have expectations for Chaudhry and sons, tbh. Unless it turns out a "ishq jalebi" ..

Out of the three this one sure did get a massive response. Trended and all..

Imran ashraf does seem better in this role than his badzaat wala character. That one is unintentional comedy. 😆

Hum tum, so far i feel, it lacks that punch! I feel Ahad is falling flat. Sarah seems the same to me everywhere. Lol still i feel the show may be better than what it is looking from the teasers who knows..

Paristaan has interesting characters. I was wondering what if this one will be the surprise hit?

But i want Chaudhary and sons to do the best, only cuz it has Ayeza. 😆

I think Laapata had a great buzz initially and got the audience excited but after the first few episodes, the execution fell flat. It did have big names after all. Like even I thought it'll give competition to its competitors, esp since Danish had wished Ayeza on this character.

The storyline was all over the place, idk how to categorise it. Maybe the promos fell short but it was promoted differently and the actual product was something else.

Ofc it got SM buzz and critiques talking. I mean, given all the factors it had, it could have done a lot better. There was just too much going on: DV, a love triangle, Shams going to prison, a murder...like wayy too much. And it was too compressed. With so many storylines, the show should have gotten a minimum of 25-30 episodes.

Ayeza ofc did the best and really got super creative with her role. At times Geeti was a little bit too OTT, but overall she was the star of the show.

Since this is her first show after Laapata and she's playing the bubbly girl for the third time in a row, looks like she's taken another way to promote it.

I feel the same as you do about Hum Tum and Paristaan.

But Chaudhry and Sons looked the best to me. Overall the vibe, colours, energy just looks super fun. Its got Asma Abbas as well and she was the best part of Chupkay Chupkay.

Paristaan is also looking promising btw. A lot rides on Aymen and Arsalan. I am liking the multiple couple vibes.

Both shows have the same kind of family background storyline but different execution styles. While Paristaan seems to focus on many couples, C&S seems to be about one couple and their family.

I feel both will do well.

Yeah maybe like you are saying she is taking a different approach this time. But whats with not putting up even a single poster/ teaser. Like i get it she doesn't wanna over promote. But atleast put something out there. 😆

You know why i have that kinda opinion for laapata? Like im kinda soft towards it cuz.. when i see stuff like berukhi and baddua getting good trps and at times topping the charts im like lol. I mean nobody gives a rats ass about these shows. Like literally no one talks about it and its as if these shows dont even exist. I wouldn't like to see my favs being a part of such projects, which has no buzz, no conversation, no social media presence, or views or atleast something like that going for it rather than just Trps as the only factor. You know what i mean.. 😆 trps with other stuff is good. Just trps is meh.

I understand what you feel for Laapata. Its good it got the "extra" attention, even if it didn't necessarily translate into TRPs. Lets not compare it to Berukhi and Baddua lol, those are not A-list 😆 AMEK and IeL were better comparisons 😆

Btw I was reading reviews about Dobara, apparently the newer episodes have disappointed the audience?

Yes, paristaan's couples are very interesting. That would be one heck of a thing if they pull it off with all the couples

At the end of the day all the three ramzaan plays are similar cuz they all are relatives 😆

And do you remember galaxy lollywood saying danish too was approached for Chaudhry and sons. I think based on teasers, imran suits the character and the play better than what danish would. I somehow imagine danish in a hum ramzan plan than a geo ramzan play.
