Every religion teaches one to be kind to others but human beings rarely follow that. Don’t blame the existence of religion for it. Blame people who aren’t kind to others.

Absolutely. Nothing good has come out of any religion. All of these are just glorified cults. Better stay away for your own good.

God may or may not exist, but no one can make the rules for how a certain god should be worshipped. All those people who lived before us knew just as much as we do (if not less) - So how can we be expected to follow those silly, logic-defying rules? By blindly believe such things, you're insulting the very thing that god purportedly gifted you -- your head.

Having said that, I would still respect and defend people's choice to pray to their god. But it shouldn't be about my god vs your god etc. Because then it all boils down to your ego and it becomes less about your god and more about you. Faith should be personal and shouldn't infringe upon other people's rights. As long as its harmless, I don't mind religion. Trouble is, in most cases, it isn't.
