I somehow feel pressurized to initiate the conversation. I am that person who is always saying hi to the new people in a party, introducing myself , shaking hands etc. People think I am a very social person but the truth is I do it because I feel very anxious otherwise.

Same here! I get anxious with silence so I always make sure to be the one to break it. If I am around, people don’t have to worry about making any efforts to talk. 😳😆

I can be both😆..

There was a girl who rarely talked; she sometimes used to sit next to me in college. Normally, I am glad in such situations.

But, somedays, I used to get so anxious that I myself used to start conversations...

You know what makes me feel awkward? Walking up to people when they’ve already spotted me from a distance. The worst is when they watch you approach them. Oh ma god, what do I do with my hands!?
