Scene: Anu has announced her wedding with Anuj publicly on stage. Minutes later Anu whisks him away into the green room backstage for privacy.
It was a beautiful episode indeed. The much-needed private conversation was good as well, peppered with banter while still clarifying misunderstandings. There was no need for me to imagine alternatives at all. But, aadat se majboor ā¦.. here goes a small nugget.
Anu goes on her knees, Anuj is beaming with joy unable to believe his dream has come true. Heaves a sigh of relief to bask in the surreal moment. Then bends down, holds her hands, looks into her eyes raising his brow. Responds in agreement with his signature smile and picks her to help her stand up.
Anu runs into his arms to embrace him. š¤Moments later, she pulls away from him, stomps her feet throwing a fit and says ā ye kya hai?š Mukku aur GK ko aap bahut badiya hug dete haiā¦.. mujhe kyun nahi? š¤š³
Anuj: confused, chuckles at her impishness. Accha! Opens his arms and signals with his hands for her to come to him.š¤ā¤ļø
She runs back into his arms and looks up to meet his gaze,nuzzles the tip of her nose at his chin and claims his lips.š³ā¤ļø
Moments later, she pulls away and looks into his eyes and raises her eyebrow as if asking if he liked itš³š³
Anuj: His eyes fixed on hers, wipes his lips with his thumb and says āBlack cherry?āš
Anu: kya?š²
Anuj: tumhara lipstickā¦. Black cherry?š³
Anu: Aapko kaise pata?š³
Anuj: there's a hint of bittersweet after taste.....š³
Anu: is now worriedā¦. aur kya kya pata hai aapko?š¤
Anuj: Aur bhi bahut kuchā¦.. I like couple other..ā¦. raises his hands and says - "You know that ā pink waala .. I think it is āRaspberry biteā has a sour aftertaste, aur woh...ā¦"
Anu: aapko ye sab kaise pata? š”makes a fist and begins to pound on his chest, stomping her feet. šš„ŗ
Anuj: Laughs, comes close to grab her hands, gives her a hug,and saysā¦ accha baba batata hoon.... Mukku ke bhai jo hoon, ye sab jaankari ussi se mili haiā¦
Continuesā¦ lets get back to black cherry, shall we? and stakes a claim on her lips š³ā¤ļø
