@Bold: I guess it’s the costs involved in using the longer routes to avoid the Russian airspace. Most of the United airlines flights have been cancelled or diverted until the end of April.

Long hauls are painful enough as adults, I can only imagine with kids. I still have PTSD from my long haul flight to South Africa (24hrs+ door to door!)

Just guessing - it still won’t be a like for like increase. Companies are milking it. Governments are getting away by blaming everything on Russia which just isn’t always the case.

US n Europe provoked Putin n led to war n Putin has to make a move n took decision .it’s strategic I think , they making Russia use all their weapons n kept sanctions n all n making it weak , when it becomes weak , us n Europe will come directly in open in war zone n attack Russia n full fledged 3rd world war .

Wonder if anyone can shed any light for me. What’s the general sentiment of Indian Tamils towards Sri Lankan Tamils? I only have personal experience and The Family Man to go by.😆many of my Sri Lankan friends now have family in TN but I don’t think it’s looked upon favourably when an Indian marries a SL and vice versa? Or maybe there’s a bigger picture with religion/caste etc?

Just before the onset of the war my husband bought his ticket for India @$845 from NYC to Delhi, and 2 days after when we also wanted to join in, our ticket costed us close to $2000 a piece now the same ticket is selling @7000. 😲But on an average it’s $3000 if we are willing to go for longer layovers.
