Really? DQ looks very much the boy next door to me. Very approachable and normal looking. Prithviraj fits the classic Bollywood profile more. But even he couldn't crack Bollywood. IMO every industry is willing to accept heroines from other industries. But heroes are quite another matter altogether.

But I agree with you that Bollywood gives good looks more consideration. Though Bollywood is willing to compromise (a little) in the case of men. Rajkummar Rao and Ajay Devgn got in somehow, didn't they? Pity about Parvathy. But she shines in all the Anupama Chopra interviews.Very articulate and not at all self-conscious especially when considering others from the Malayalam industry.
