I mean looking from tht angle, there would other na-mehrum in the house anyway like housekeeping, so the step sister would have to cover herself anyway.

Tht probably came off as very insensitive. 😆It’s not. There might not be any Islamic issue with it but I feel a sibling is a sibling regardless if it a step sibling or half sibling. They r part of the family.

It’s a similar issue I have with cousin marriages dramas show. Specially the ones tht live in the same house.

on a side note, does the step father qualify as mehrum?

There's nothing like step siblings in Islam. There's no such relation.. they aren't related to eachother. But step father and step mother are meharams to step children. However their relatives are namehrams to his step children. Like stepfather sis is na mehram . So if a man married a woman who has a son. This son can marry his stepfather's sis or even mom.😊

Step siblings can marry but half siblings cant marry. Yes in Islam there is nothing like step siblings and they can marry with each other but culturally it's odd. Like expecting a child before rukhsati is not a sin in Islam but culturally it's odd. Islam is an amazing religion unfortunately this culture and society makes it difficult.

The best solution is the marriage of step sister. Phir usko parda nhi karna parey ga

I understand your pov yes it looks odd. Half siblings can't marry each other but step siblings can.

As Cousin marriages are pretty common in Islam so they don't consider odd but step siblings marriage happens rarely that's why it's looks odd.

Usama character is batameez and rude. In first episode i thought that his father was wrong but nah he is rude with his father infact with everyone except his mother.

Anmol's father has cancer. Anmol's mother went to her brothers house to ask for money but they did not give her money.

Anmol ky father ka safar itna hi tha. He will die in next episode

It is culturally odd only in East Asian countries, not in Middle East.

It is common in my country.. but sometimes if the ex wife is still alive she won't be happy seeing her son getting married to her sotan's daughter.😃

Yea, he is very rude. Felt bad for anmol’s mom. She was begging her brother but to no avail. How can a brother be so cold hearted, towards his sister.

I wonder how anmol n her mom enter usama’s side of the story. Also the srha n her cousin stry seems pointless.
