1. Usually 14-15. More likely 15 as there are 5 Captains.
But 5 Captains are new - so even 20 is possible! 🤣

2. That is the case with all Reality Shows like IL. You get a few weeks of sneak peak to encourage you to switch to the channel when the show starts 😃

Bold: I thought Salman will be Master of 4 captains!! 20 contestants possible - 5 per captain. If Salman also captain, then 25 contestants?? 😆 If jijju associated with this show, then expect unexpected 🤣

There is no such indication or deference to seniority to the best of my knowledge! 🤔

Either they have already selected the contestants from the auditions or they just know that these lot are talented so will get through

I know few good contestants are joining Superstar Singer 2 but I am excited and waiting to watch SS2 only for Arunita 🤩

It may sound weird in this thread but I am planning to follow SS2 to get a chance to listen Arunita's singing.

Aru is a timeless singing talent, she has a god gifted divine voice that attracts me the most. At the same time her training in classical music helps her in becoming a complete singer.

She is perfect in throwing her voice with correct pronounciation of each word very distinctly. She sings with perfect emotion, her expression is just superb. She can play with the lyrics in her own style that makes me stunned all the time. She absorbs a very good understanding of theme/contex of any song she sings. She is master in executing balanced crafts in her singing. Jeyada bhi nehi, kam bhi nehi, ekdom perfect.

Aru does not sing as Arunita, she becomes the character who is singing. Her feelings in the songs are very prominent and realistic. She is just the best singer in this recent time.

I hope the contestants will be benefitted from her technics, skill of voice control, knowledge about tune and rhythm. And will be inspired by her hard works in past and present

If auditions still on, then how come 5-6 promos of contestants being shown? I think these contestants in the promos are in top 15, 20 or whatever. So either auditions finished and top contestants chosen, only waiting for the show to go on air next month OR the promos contestants received golden mike in which ever towns auditions already taken!!!

For me the joy of watching auditions rounds etc gone when these promos shown
