No, this wont happen. Ram and Priya, both are righteous that way. If Ram wanted, he could have still be Vedika when Priya was around. He was still not in a great marriage with Priya but their relationship stood through time

She compared herself with Priya , I am so happy that she did it. Because now that it has come from Vedika's mouth, Ram will understand Priya a lot better . Not having support of Dad , not getting to live a life with first love are some of the points she quoted.

"Not getting the first love " that's the place he will think how painful was it for him and how long it took for him to come out of his first love. She remined him of her betrayal and the pain .

Loved this statement from her that "forgetting the past is not everyone's forte "( me thinking who are you telling this too. The man who lived in the illusion that you created 😆) Vedika says Brinda doesnt understand , but I think she herself quoted Brinda by saying Priya is trying to forget her past but she will need time. She even had the audacity to question if its worth a wait.

How long will he wait?? WOW ...my thought is , if he could stay single for her this long , wont he wait for the girl who agreed to trust him and get into a loveless marriage with him , just for the happiness of their siblings??

Ram was really shocked with her behavior. He didnt want to discuss his marriage with her ( for once I was happy about that 😆😳) . She came forward to hold his hand but he kept his distance ( loved that as well..😳😆) "I do not want to discuss abt the past . I am feeling a bit odd. " Liked that statement from him.👏

She herself reminded him of her betrayal which lead to his pain . Its this pain that made him get into a marriage of convenience, where in he had clearly mentioned to his to be wife that she shouldnt expect love from him. And because of which his and Priya's present life is also messed up. So yes Vedika is responsible for all the pain in his life!!

I feel she has made the greatest mistake of all , by asking for a second chance. The moment she stated abt the second chance , his shock was clearly was visible . He politely yet assertively reminded her about the time, looked her and walked away from there. But that look stated it all.

(3rd memory refresh)

Even in the office , he thinks about Vedika's statement , if its his past that is not giving him happiness.( Yipee !!. Yess he needs to realise that he needs to let go his past )

He was wondering what the second chance meant for both of them. And his eyes fall of his and Priya's wedding photo. Then he remembers Vedika's statement that Priya will need time to leave the past and to trust someone.

And he remembers that initial Vedika and Ram scene followed by the present one where in Vedika is blaming herself for his pain.

He takes his anxiety pills and remembers Priya's statement where in she is reminding him about his loveless marriage proposal which she accepted.

We need to thank Vedika for this conversation with him. She has helped him to think in a direction which even Brinda couldnt.

From this entire episode he will soon come to conclusion that life has given him a second chance to fall in love through Priya and that , he needs to patiently wait and give her time to trust him . For that he needs to first let go of his past.

I loved Brinda and Ram's conversation, a woman needs surety and time to settle in a marriage. Then love will eventually find its way. Who doesnt want to be loved ??!!
