They changed it to Sharma because they wanted to include the Indian ethnicity; I think they kept the first names so audience and book readers could have some connect to the book.

I just watched Jonny Bailey in Crashing and omg he’s a mess. A hot mess but a mess nonetheless.

Or rather Sam (the character) he plays is a mess 😆

The man is talented - I think it comes from him being a theatre actor, you can see the nuance in his acting choices
