Two sources are posted that could be used as a start to question the "truthful" depiction of an event that hurts every compassionate person. The movie blatantly caters to a certain thinking using a crime against humanity as platform by playing accuser and judge at the same time.
If you allude to German history under the ruling of the NSDAP you should rather look at the so-called "right wing" political thinking in India (which, btw., was involved in what happened to the Kashmiri Pandits).

the director made a movie that has valid content. If it tugs at the heartstrings, it is because it has been well made... and what he has depicted depicts the reality of those times. Maybe you should empathize with the victims instead of playing pscho-shrink here. Possible for you?đ
