The realisation - I want to clearly call out the actual realisation vs the phase leading to it. I feel both V and Sai’s actual realisation were rushed up. Though Sai’s was a gradual journey and we kind of saw signs through the way, but just that last step was geared up. V’s was too sudden, though we got hints, but it sprung out of nowhere without warning. Having said that how much ever I’m disliking the character and the acting, his realisation phase was better.
Sai being naive and inexperienced and considering her age, they did kind of put in certain points to align with these aspects in her realisation. Yet, it felt more like she was being given a checklist to determine if she was in love or not. They could have delved more into it. And Ayesha would have delivered with one of the best sequence.
Also the two lines that stuck out for me (from yesterday)- “Mera Virat Sir ke alawa koi nahi hai” On why she never boyfriend “Usse pehle Virat Sir se meri shaadi ho gayi”. These two dialogues are very poignant to understand Sai’s love. And this has been discussed many a times on the forum whenever the love being there was being debated.
I’m not liking the current begging pleading, family planning plotting any of the regressive and toxic content. But for the sake of an ex favourite “Sairat”
1. V is acting - I’m not delving into the actual acting, enough has been spoken with no results. But he is watching, testing, pushing her. Did he hear her talk to her Aaba? That was a very emotional scene, and if he heard her and yet chose to keep up the act, he is definitely cruel. He came looking out for her and he heard her say those words. We never got many flashbacks and monologues of V during SH track. But I just hope when the truth is revealed, they revisit each of these instances and a holistic scenes with V’s version added along with some monologues. Dedicate atleast one episode to all that. I doubt that though. They like rushing up on such things.
2. Also, if I’m reading into this correctly V is trying hard to control himself. Flashback to a similar scenes where he was staring her reflection in the mirror when she walked out with wet hair after a bath. I don’t know if it was a “nuance” or a editing or continuity issue, but when she turns around from the mirror to look at V you can see him slightly fold his fingers (as if gathering strength to survive through this ordeal) and even when she comes near he has this irritated expression (not sure if it’s irritated or its him trying to control his emotions). Isn’t it a reminder of Sai’s birthday morning when tries to wake him up with droplets from her wet hair? Even the dupatta looks somewhat similar. PS - Is it only me, or the dupatta magically appeared as she turned away from the mirror?
2. Precap - Some sort of “kaand” is coming up. Sai is likely to suffer a lot. P will have an upper hand. The reason is that Sai applied color on V when he was sleeping. He in all probability will wipe it away. Others will play and he may agree to some extent to join them. But Sai will be excluded from all this. So in all this they would just want to give this small solace that technically Sai applied colour on V first, while P might be gleeing thinking its her or the fact that Sai didn’t get a chance. So more drama and cringe coming up with the holi sequence turned into horror sequence. Bhabhi will be on roll for sure.
