I'm almost done with my TVWLM re-read.. last couple of chapters left! And still a looong wait for S2 😒

You know, Rege was hot (even if I reserve my opinion about his acting skills) and Jonny is sizzling (imo), and so is Simone and together they're FIRE...

But I'm just not feeling it with Luke T (Ben), Luke N (Colin) and Chris Fulton (Phillip).

I just hope the Sophie they cast and Luke T share great chemistry (or he could be 'bi'. Please be 'Bi'.)

Colin and Pen, ik I won't care

And Philloise? Nope Nope Nope. El needs/should have someone better (or no one) I'm okay with her being a crusader for women's rights but this is a romance so i'm guessing that won't happen. But if she's straight at least give her a ML worthy of her! I want the plot changed from the book so drastically for her. If Philloise is endgame then send El to Univ and make Phillip an academician (or least someone more interesting than he was in the book).

I'm not even talking about Franny, Hyacinth and Greg at this point...

Yeah, the future seasons look bleak to me 😔

Firstly, drama/book adaptations will always be different from the actual book but the extent and creative liberty taken will vary..

Since I haven't read the books I have no expectations whatsoever.. I actually watched the show cuz I saw you gushing about it 😆

Hopefully they go the way you want it! But don't have high expectations, cuz firstly it's Netflix and it's Netflix, they cancel the most amazing shows and keep bringing in shit and also try to get things done in their ways ...

I swear writing an FF will be a much more fulfilling exercise than wanting them to show something I'm pretty sure they won't.. unless they do.

Yes I know. Canon has always disappointed one way or the other. At least one thing is good in this case, I know the couples will get their HEAs one way or the other and I don't have to put up with angst just cos the writers believe it's good drama 😆

I'm not talking storylines here (though I am to an extent). It was more about the actors. Anyways I'm still very excited for S2, uske baad Neflix jaane 😆
