Na, bcos I’ve said the same thing in almost all the episodic reviews. Phoebe was sooooo much better than him in every scene!! That’s why I said I cannot see the chemistry between them because she was the only one trying 🤪 Taali ek haath se nahi bajti bhidu!

Idk they’re setting El up to be some kind of suffragist- feminist and I really, really hope her trajectory lands better than in the books. She cannot be this radical thinking person only to end up with a botany obsessed eccentric in a country house raising his (and her own) kids!

I’m rooting so hard for her and Marina - Marina has faced a history of discrimination by society and I’d like to think she’d happily team up with El!

I know all my ships never take off in shows though

TVWLM Is a great book and A and K are well- written characters but I can’t say I’m necessarily excited about the rest of the seasons/ books. AOFAG has its problematic elements and RMB - man it’s just meh and seeing as how they’ve ruined both Pen and Colin for me on the show, I don’t care about their story at all! 😒
