In today's episode the entire family is relaxing at home and planning evening outs ..watching movies and only Mithayi is slogging away !!

You see Rajeev, Nanda, Sree, Ratul they aren't involved in Modak Business.. Dadai owns the business but he isn't active anymore due to his age.. So apart from him only 4 family members are involved n they runs the family business -

Mithai

Som

Kakai

Somoresh

Holi is around the corner n it's a big festival, people buys lots of sweets during this time..

Also Kakai mentioned it's almost year ending n he n Borobabu were busy with official works..

Not only Mithai but Som too returned home late due to high demand of sweets during this time n lots of other pressure.. It's not family's fault that Mithai was working late.. She has a job n she's dedicated to her job..

The family cannot ask her to drop her work n sit at home until Sid gets new job.. If the situation was reverse, Sid wouldn't have sit at home leaving his work to support Mithai.. No one in the family would have expect that from him.. So why expect Mithai to leave her work coz she's the DiL of the family..

Yes Sid definitely needs support at this time coz a workaholic like him who resigned from PCG to avoid his Boss/Bhabi's continuous harassment, it's a difficult phase for him.. And Mithai's support is what he needs, n Sid has her full support.. But that definitely doesn't mean Mithai would have to leave her work n sit at home to support Sid..

I don't blame Sid in this situation..

1st of all he is the only person in the family who's genuinely concerned for Mithai..

For others Mithai is either Barir Bou so her priority should be family's well being n responsibilities.. Or else Mithai has duty towards Family Business so her priority should be working for profit in business.. And Holla Party wants Mithai's company for fun, masti, enjoyment, celebration etc etc.. Sid is the only person who's concerned about her health, her safety..

Sid himself is going through a rough phase.. He resigned coz of Torsha's continuous harrassment in office.. But that didn't made things any better coz she continues to harass Sid at home.. She's getting away with everything coz she's the boss in office n eldest DiL at home..

Sid n Mithai's misunderstanding is pretty much normal between married couple.. I've seen it in my home too between my parents .. Sometimes maybe they are frustrated with other things or people but they take it out on each other.. But after sometimes things become normal again... Same thing happened here..

Sid n Mithai completes each other.. Like Som said to Torsha in today's episode.. Both him n Sid are similar about one thing - when they fell in love with someone, they'll love that girl forever..

I highly dislike this track. Today borobabu said something very accurate. When Sid went to work he came back at whatever time he wanted to, but for Mithai, the time is set. That too by him. I understand he is unable to cope with this new situation. But to set limits on your wife because you don't have a job is justifiable in no way.

Thammi's attitude has always been regressive and no surprises, she strongly sticks by her 20th century attitude in this situation as well. "Barir bou raat dupure baari phirle chole?", "Dadubhai holo purush manush, songshar e oto shomane shomane chola jai naki?" seem to be her favourite dialogues these days.

The only reason Dadai still supports Mithai working is because there is a surge in business and they can't manage without her. How convenient 😃

Moral of the story (if any) is that for a woman, work is optional. Her main duty is to attend to her man-child of a husband and if she finds time in between she can work. But but but, only as long as it is not "raat dupur"👏
