Scenario before Ashok Hooda murder:
The guy tied to the tree was a whistleblower. There were some illegal activities going on in their pharmaceutical business ( okay assuming they have one ) ... could be fake medicines or drugs racket. Chachaji got involved initially due to greed but along the way maybe he realised the black hole that this was and didnt really want to continue. But then stuck in it and cannot get out of it. ( this leaves scope for him being whitewashed later).
Now Tej was also involved in their business so he got suspicious but had nothing definite to go on. He probably was either following Chachaji ( lesser probability ) or following some tip given by this whistleblower fellow( higher probability). Ashok Hooda also probably was working on that case. So Tej left home on the pretext of a trip and was trying to do some jasoosi and lands up in the jungle and sees the murder. He has seen Hawa Singh, but not seen Chachaji properly.
Scenario after Ashok Hooda murder:
Tej is being chased by the murderers and is trapped between the cars. He loses consciousness. Chachaji is quite shocked to find Tej there. The others want to kill him off but he doesnt since Tej is family and he actually does care for him. He somehow manages to convince the others to not kill him but instead drug him and keep him captive. So Tej was probably drugged and kept under captivity for a reasonable length of time until the search for Tej lost steam. I believe that if someone is drugged for a long duration, it can cause adverse effects. So thats the reason he lost his memory. Now from here onwards I have no theory. He somehow got out of captivity. Probably he got violent after some torch light incident and then ran away just like how he did during his panic attacks. Since he had lost his memory and the culprits knew it they too didnt bother much about it. How he landed in Rajasthan and how he got injured enough to not be able to father a child I dont know. Some major accident maybe enroute to Rajasthan.
Right now Chachaji is probably wanting to save his skin. He is relieved that Tej does not remember anything. But Meety is danger.
Hawa Singh was not talking to Chachaji on phone that day in the store room but culprit number 3( politician or whoever). Bcz Chachaji already knows that Tej does not remember anything so there was no need for HS to inform him. So he calls both Chachaji and this other culprit Sirji.
Going forward I have no theory how Tej can gain his memory.
I have no theory yet for the camera too. And that jungle premika.
