I can totally see where your views are coming from but still I would beg to differ from your points on age shaming and totally agree with Sunny, Rani and many others who responded to this...age shaming is a horrible things to do be it for a real person or a character... yes we do have our share of problems with Anu's character but thats what the makers have portrayed her as, a very naive and simple person who has been conditioned to live in hell and call it heaven for 25 years of her life. From her teenage, her mom must have taught her all the old age values that we do not find relevant today. Her getting bound to that family again and again must be that 25 years ki aadat. Anuj too is from her generation and I guess he understands these values of Anupama really well, so he doesn't say anything to her but we have seen her coming out of it sometimes and that's commendable. Yes she goes back to the same place (which is annoying) but I guess sometimes we (incld me) dont think from their pov, I mean our generation values and thinking is so different from them and so we might get agitated at the mildest of insults but for a person who has heard all this from past 25 years and is taught from childhood that whatever happens mother in law is maa and bhagwan then maybe that person gets bound to it. I dont know if I am right or wrong, I can be ridiculously wrong and if I am then I am really sorry.

Also as many of the people on forum said that Kinjal is really important to Anu as she has been a strong pillar for her when she needed a support and also how can she go for support from Rakhi type mom when all that lady can do is insult her family. I know shah family sometimes deserves all that especially Baa, V and K even Toshu, but for Kinjal it must be so embarrassing. Seeing the trashcan ordering her stay to back makes me wanna throw my mote mote 50 kilo ke books at him...👊👊👊

My fav scene is when Anuj removes the knot and takes her away 🥺❤, may be thats a good sign.
