Leaving aside ITV fiction let me narrate a real story:

There's this middle class family of 3 sisters the eldest was somewhat obese but decent looking, balanced in nature, gharelu types taking care of behnein since childhood, the middle one looks gorgeous, chirpy obviously lots of guys running after her and carries the attitude on her sleeves, the youngest is witty, hardworking determinate and humorous of all.

A guy happens to knock on their🚪 door once for an alliance🤝 for the elder one, but the guy decides to marry the chirpy younger one in the first sight, he doesnt get along well with his dad due to their temperamental mismatch.

The girl's parents due to their late marriage and not having any sons to look after their children wanted to see their daughters married soon, hence readily agrees for the alliance.

The younger girl declines the proposal because she's brilliant in studies and is doing well professionally even while doing regular studies at a young age of 19. She unwillingly visits the guys home due to her parents pressure, gives acquiescence to the proposal due to family circumstances.

Suddenly the guy gets convinced by his family members to marry the elder one as she's more mature and gharelu(idhar udhar JIJA🕴⚠️)

Meanwhile the girls mother unaware of the developments(Kaand Matha⚠️) from the guys side starts dreaming about her younger daughter wedding and she cant keep anything to herself, so she tells everybody in their neighbourhood 📢 about the alliance to the younger one and the marriage in the offing.

Finally the guy and his family comeback asking for the elder girl🌋 to which the elder girl and family readily accepts and marriage preparations begin and the younger one gets mocked🤪 by people in the neighbourhood for the switching of roles from biwi to saali.

The girls shared a good bond despite the elder one having jealousy issues since childhood with her own siblings.

After marriage the girls continue being sisters, but their relation was not like before, the elder one insecure about her husband's affection tries to badmouth her sister in front of the husband, jija having grudge against the kattha angoor saali is disrespectful to her, taunting her in each visit to the mayka, calling the girl unfit for marriage and can never live at her in-laws even for few months. The younger one could never entertain her idhar udhar jija and his intolerable taunts. Making their each festive visit an eternal hell to her.

Thereafter the girl decides to accept koi bhi to escape this torture, but had to have a heartbreak💔 due to rishta breaking before engagement 💍 and gets mocked by these people😏 proving them ✅️ about the girl not being a marriage material.

The elder one and jija were successful at being jodibreakers for all matches to the girl through them.

At the age of 20 it felt eternal suffering to the girl but then came her prince charming flying 🛩from 🌁, he looked at the girl's pic while 🌉and started praying lord Shiva🛕 🔱 for 90 days wanting an immediate marriage and arrived in India to get married within 10 days.

When god disposes nobody can change it, hence the girl's parents get the alliance fixed to the groom and reveals this to jija and elder sister only after the engagement because everything has been decided within hours(jhat mangini💍phat byaah👩‍❤️‍👨)

The elder sister and jija were unhappy with the parents for the late intimation and marriage to the sister without their consent.

Their heartburn had no bounds when they have seen that the girl is betrothed into an affluent family and she will be flying far away from them.

Despite all this the sisters bond continues because blood relations cannot be discontinued.

The younger one is born with her own set of flaws and thanks to the circumstances before marriage, she could see the bright side of people in her future and the challenge of her jija enabled her to remain patient during the initial glitches in her marital life.

Bottomline: Life happens in many colors and dont expect everything in black and white. Ooparwala has a very colourful creation so let's enjoy it.

This is a realistic situation. Now how the writer uses their words and tone will make this story a vulgar or a classic.

Life is exactly like this.

We are all given salt, sugar, lime and chilly. Now its upon us what kind of dish we prepare to serve with the all spices.

I always feel no situation is ugly until we force it to be.

How we react to them gives it the shade of tolerance or opposite.

Thank you for sharing this reallife story.

What happened to the youngest sister who was an audience to this whole situation and who matured beyond her age by being a mute witness to all of this.

My head is spinning reading this. Kaha se kaha chali gayi yeh train and I saw sprinkles of Abhi and Akshara in this.

I think moral of the story is that Bhagwan ke ghar pe der hain per andher Nahi.

I spend more time tweet reading these days. Coz the serial is so half cooked, the flaws stare back at me or maybe i notice those only. Birdland mein I keep my rosy tinted glasses on and keep my focus only on the "bull's" eyes.😉

Aankhon ki gustakhiyaan maaf ho! 😳

Oh wow, what an interesting situation. I am so glad it ended well for the younger one. 👏

I hate sisters who get jealous and do things like that! In fiction I can tolerate it because you know they will learn a lesson but in real life it is just sad and heart breaking. This is why the saying exist ' you can choose your friends but not family' and this is why many people go no contact with toxic family members. I hope the younger sister is living a wonderful and happy life.

So this situation, a groom coming for 2 girls in one family can happen in real life? I don't mean to upset anyone or offend but isn't that silly? would not the elders think 'hang on a minute, he came for one before and now coming for another one?'....In tv shows, you know it's fiction. Now I can see that real life had given seed to fictional stories like that.

You are so correct in saying what God gives, nobody can take no matter what.👏

Did you know this family well?😊

Did you know this family well?😊

I know this family very well, they had the most run down house in the entire neighbourhood but dignified people, never seeking any external help.

Sometimes I might seem more biased to the elder girl over the others because the elder one was the most obedient child in our entire neighbourhood.

The ppl mentioned above had financial problems both parents unemployed, reaching their old age while the daughters are still young, due to their late marriage, they have 3 daughters the father had a big illness and surgery, no sons to take care of the daughters atleast thats what the mother used to say. So, we can imagine their compulsions.

The family was close knit and only the mother used to talk about their every family news.

As per the neighbourhood talk, the bichari elder sister had to parent the other 2 from a young age because their mum never seem to be interested in the routine chores of the house, taking care of the house or kids.

The mum also shouldn't be blamed because she used to earn supplemental income by stitching petticoats, saree falls, making snacks for festivals etc all used to call her snacks aunty🤣.

We often heard their nani during her visits lecturing the girls mum about how she is treating the elder daughter like a step daughter by not giving her time and affection.

I felt maybe it's true because the elder one used to do the entire house work. Poor girl doesn't know how to extract work from the little ones and might as well found it difficult to discipline them because she's a child herself they are even younger.

Surprising thing is I heard the mother telling that they are planning the younger ones wedding with the elder one's meager salary savings and jewellery, you can imagine how it must have felt to the elder girl because someone rejected to marry her for being obese and then mother trying to take away her jewellery and savings for the younger one's wedding.

Considering their financial situation maybe the girls mother is ✅️ but being a girl of their age I felt it was injustice to the elder one.

Surprisingly the sisters are still together but I presume they have the awareness of the past and not in YRKKH land🤣🤣🤣
