The problem is we get no monologues or expressions from Virat that show his longing despite his hurt abd genuine love. He kept quiet- fine but there was nothing in his body language that suggested that he was against his family's behavior with Sai. He was the guy that told Sai to stay in CN even when he left. So today when she's giving it back there is no sense of discomfort at the way people speak to her, neither a hint of smile/melting at Sai's handling of things.

Eventually he will melt with Sai returning. But will he ever understand Sai's pain, her hurt. Or is he just gonna "forgive" her?! Coz the way i see it, Virat is the one more at fault. And right now everyone including Sai has made it all about Virat forgiving people! There has to be a reciprocation from him about understanding Sai's pov and reasons for her reaction which was just a normal reaction for any wife. He erred majorly no matter what his intentions.

I feel Virat was observing everything what Sai was doing. Sai was phenomenal today.

I have the same perspective! Virat’s true character is he just doesn’t speak up no matter how much the other side instigates. There are couple times he has said that to Sai too that it’s not needed to react to everything the other person says. Of course totally opposite of Sai!

I actually always thought that Virat is not the person to fight for Sai, he lets her fight her battle since he knows she is capable. He does jumps in at times when is absolutely needed! I remember the harmonium incident where Pakhi brought drugs into the pic. Virat clearly said sabki backwas Chodo he knows Sai wouldn’t do that! As a woman I don’t want anyone to fight for me! I am enough and if I need help I will say so!

There are times I compared him standing up for Shruthi in front of the family like he hasn’t stood for Sai but Shruthi was not present hence the defense. There have been instances when Sai is not present he has defended her infront of CN and pakhi.

clearly they are drawing parallels when Sai was ousted she showed Virat the door when he went to GC and it was same way virat showing her the door during that food delivery act!

Yeah I think he is mute coz of hurt and thinks all of the CN are empty threats! Sai can handle them! Now do we really think that guy will let anyone push Sai in the fire in actuality - no! He just save her from the landmines. Just giving him some credit!

Divorce and that giving the bday ring back was two breaking points!

The only thing I can’t digest is he is not seeing Sai’s pain throughout the Shruthi track, again I hope Sai has a dialogue where he is told that no one would like their spouses name with someone else! Sai is hurt equally!
