You cannot you just cannot find any similarity. Everything which is negative and regressive in that show "Kartika Deepam" has turned modern and heartwarming here. Biological dad and stepmom is replaced with biological caring parents, beauty obsessed evil sister is replaced with a cute and loving sister. And Diya is completely different from Deepa... She is well educated and has topped in Hotel management, she has worked for years in different workplaces and now her dream job is to become the front desk executive of a 5 star hotel, she is totally uninterested in marriage, she loves her hairs and love to grow because it gives her strength. I was amazed seeing all these things tbh. I mean who can expect a regressive show can have such a progressive remake.

among chinese the one i found was huang junjie whose career is derailed due to his infidelity

When I compare this with Indian celebs you have sallu uncle who kills people, poaches extinct animals assaults his gfs and yet hailed as heroes

the constant news about actors sleeping around, doing drugs and what not. Nobody gives a flying fcuk. The celebs here get away with anything mostly
