I began watching Anupama when Gaurav Khanna joined and liked it more and more each day - till recently 🤔

As for today's epi (5 March), my 2 paise inputs:

1. Though there is still fear -of Anu going back to the Shahs-, I would think the past 6 months (that is, since Anuj came into the picture) showed a positive upward trend for Anupama. Going back to the Shahs would be a regression of the worst kind.
After above hope-giving notes, it may be good to give the writers some benefit of doubt - if only, for our own peace of mind 😕

2. But what they are doing t Anuj's character these days is unforgivable. Not so much because of messing up the storyline but because it shows a terrible disrespect to the ACTOR !!!

Gaurav Khanna put so much of his heart and soul into this portrayal - and see how much love and respect he is receiving for it from us, viewers. And deservedly so. ⭐️

But now he is being made into a joker, a stopgap, a programme filler, yes, a lollipop to silence us, wailing babies. 😭

Sadly, this is a trend I have been seeing on Indian TV for so many years now - messing up an original, great concept, wrecking some wonderful characters and characterisations, actually disrespecting the actors putting in their sweat and tears into their work... and all for NO RHYME OR REASON. 🤢

Yet, we keep going back to watch Anupama, at least.

Anu heading back will be regression of the worst kind but Bhavana's recent insta comment has given a new hope to fans that she might not go back! Fingers crossed! As far as Anuj, I second your opinion. They havent used even 10% potential of him as an actor. A charac that was established as an alpha male who is powerful, sassy, smart yet gentle and sensitive is missing! He is reduced to a mere bhakt of Anu and as endearing as it was initially, they shouldnt over do it now. His OTT excitement can soon become cringe for the viewers. Its high time they redeem his charac. Acc to me he is the only watcheable or rather bearable charac left in the show!

I think the reason we keep going back to the show is for ANUJ!! The narrative of his love story and his 26 yr penance became so compelling and never heard of that it sucked us right in. Only a woman could have sketched his charac. The feminine side of Anuj that is missing in the crude world we live in gives us comfort and warmth plus Gaurav's top notch performance only elevated the freshness of his charac. Watching him feels like a beautiful spring day and we got so invested over time which is the only reason we keep going back with the hope to catch a glimpse of him and rooting for him to find his happily ever after. If not for Anuj, I would have stopped this depressing nonsense at epi 356 itself😁

Absolutely priyee... In show now nothing remained except our beloved Anuj.. Top notch acting of our beloved Gk... N so the butchering d character of anuj hurt us more.... As we emotionally attached to d character... So our situation is like.. Show chodna chahte h.. But chod nhi paa rhe h... Dil h ki manta nhin....Rs is very intelligent he cast him for playing with our emotions.. But jo bhi kia bohot achcha kia..

I totally agree with you Sunny, they have murdered Anupama ka character and Anuj ka toh poocho mat, completely opposite to what he was when he was introduced....I get his excitement that after 26 years finally his love is being reciprocated and being taken to the next level. Remember when Anu had openly defended him during Dussehra he was soooo happy and excited... but now he has so many things on his plate that his excitement seems very off. Like his sister his baccha his mukku left him, his company is in the hands of a cheater, he is currently jobless...so in between all this his excitement seems OTT or just out of character or may be I am being insensitive idk.

RS really needs to stop going all tere naam on SP....and actually follow his words of no one is above the show... sirf likhne se kaam thodi chalega follow karke dikhao, V ko phaansi lagwao phir hum maanenge no one is above the show.

Weekend toh mast chal raha hai with loads and loads of assignments....🤦‍♀️😂
