I don't think it was fair. Kisi ke behaviour ko napasand karne mein( ya uss wajah se uss par gussa hone mein) aur usse galat kehne mein farq hota hain. She wasn't wrong on being angry with Karan because of his behaviour and expressing the same openly but when she said him to apologise, there she went wrong because she directly passed the judgement of Karan being wrong without listening the whole matter from both sides.

During a date or them just spending time with each other, on questioning about Balli's sweet or affectionate nature, he can reply that 'main tumhara boyfriend hu, uss haq se main sweetly ya thoda pyaar bhi nahi jata sakta, aur ab toh kisi ko hamare baare mein pata chal jane ka dar bhi nahi' (I guess Balli watched KarMi in the club and observe them like how close they stand, their expressions while talking to each other, again correct me if I am wrong, because spoiler mein itni clear nahi thi yeh baat) but again it all depends on how well Balli imitates Karan, like you said.

May I ask? Haaye, itna formal toh main english ke paper mein formal letter likhte hue nahi thi, yaar.

I feel Karan to be equally guilty because he knows Walnut is someone jo uske aur Monami ke beech mein aana chahta hai. He already said it to Monami ki wo use trust nahi karta, wo yeh feel karta hai ki yeh sab wo un dono ke beech mein aane ke liye kar raha hai.
Jab usko yeh pata tha toh rather than reacting explosively and falling right into the trap, he should have used his commando practicality.
Karan is shown to be able to be practical, professional and formal even in situations where he is angry. (Like Raawat and the journalist, as I had mentioned. In both these times, Karan was angry or irked about what they have said, but he didn't exploded and didn't call them names). I feel like he can control his anger and control his actions while he is angry but he doesn't always does so, and doesn't always think with a very clear mind.
Toh I feel like the ideal response would be to use his practicality while dealing with Walnut. Jab use pata tha, toh he shouldn't have walked right into that trap.
But as I said, ki main Karan ko gussa hone mein blame nahi karungi kyunki he's very protective about his duty and koi uski deshbhakti aur uski duty ko question karega, toh use gussa aana justifable hai.

Mujhe lagta hai dono ka ideal response nahi tha, par dono ka bahut realistic response tha, ki gusse mein aapne doosre insaan ki feelings ko consider nahi kiya.

Arey nahi, nahi. Mere ghar mein sab mera mazaak udhate hain bachpan se toh mujhe offend karne ke liye logon ko sach mein bahut mehnat karni padegi.

Dhanu kahin frustration mein hi Monami ko naa target kar le. 'Karan Shergill ek taraf, tune toh meri hi aadmi ko apne peechhe lattu kara hua hai. Pehle tujhe maar deti hoon, future plans mein kab se kab lattu log toh nahi ghoomenge.'
