Season 3 akshara is such a boring character - Page 2

OMG ..u pointed out something so important!

Yes! The s1 Akshara was super relatable she was the girl-next-door kinda character and had her realistic pet peeves and desires. She was easy to impress and was equally easy to irritate too. She was this simple, normal girl. There was fair share of love for her family and her husband too but more importantly a fair share of being miffed by them.

She was never portrayed to be mahaanta ki devi ( especially in her initial days ) and that made sense for a young adolescent girl....she myt have been later made to be slightly more Mahaan but that made sense as the journey was abt the character that started as a pampered daughter but grew along the way with her responsibilities.

But why nowadays makers have to bring out a character to be Mahaan from the get-go??

The S1 did soo well being raw and realistic, isn't the success of it the primary reason that led to these sequels??... why have the plot-makers lost the plot?

Girls wanna see relatable girls. Akshara represents no part of the World's adolescent girl population! The only person she is irritated by is Abhi, it's kinda unfair.

If you watched kuch rang season one I kind of feel Sonakshis character had all that and there was story too but it's not easy to make that again

I have seen it . Not just kuch rang. But there r plenty of good shows with strong characters. The catch is, are they a commercial success or not ? Also, how long can they sustain it without butchering the characters ? As far as I know , dev was butchered ..n sona keeps coming bk to him.

Plus , there is an audience who see sonkashi as strong..like you and me. There is a huge audience who think she was arrogant and not flexible . When she chose a mammas boy , fell in love with him knowing the dynamics , she had to live with it. In short , trp audience don't connect with female leads who leave their in laws . They like sacrificing, crying , adjusting fl . I myself connected more to thr vampish mil . Motherly connection. The show was really well written for 150 something epis .

I adored Sona’s characterization and was so hopeful to see her stand tall against Ishwari in season 3, especially cause Erica does an amazing portrayal of a fierce mama bear! Honestly, I expect a similar storyline here cause like Dev, Abhi is a mama’s boy and can’t see no wrong in his mom behaviour. But Manjaris human and she’s bound to mess up (imo she has already). Abhi is not that level of a mammas boy as dev. Ishwari was obsessed with her son , she wanted his life to revolve around hers.. Manjari abhimanyu dynamic is a normal mother son one... Ab itna toh pyar karega woh apni ma sa.

The only problem with manjari is her toxic connection to harsh. Which is very much like akshus toxic connection with aaru. So when they support wrong people , they are inviting trouble..its the same as kartiks obsession with his dadi , and the need to make her happy .......anyways , both manjari and akshu can't feel abhimanyus pain, they want abhimanyu to bend whatever the situation is..... I see akshu and manjari together creating more problems for abhi than harsh ever could.

Arre kahan se she went against aaru and manish? She is still doing their jaap .she will never will hurt any one of them (they got hurt that's different . Coz they they nautankibaaz). Aaru ko chodo but in yrkkh, ache bache never go against their parents no matter how wrong they are. What I mean by this..they may protest low key, they may take a stand sometimes , talk back. But never ever leave them and always forgive them. And they will always be bk with the emo atyachar of parents/ grand parents.

Nautankibaaz or not, she did give Manish a heart attack 🤣Yes, he started the mess for trying to arrest Abhi for a crime he didn't do (breaking and entering, trespassing, or a restraining order would've been better IMO), but it was her rebellion gave the push that sent him into a cardiac infarction.

Yaar naira tamed kartik into believing in his family and then the same family was responsible for all their separations and misunderstandings.

As of now I haven't seen a place where manjari was actually wrong . Unlike aaru. That's where I find akshu worse . Aaru was actively trying to bulldoze akshu and abhimanyus feelings. Manjari kinda forced abhimanyu into shadi but her intention was to see her son happy. When she noticed he isnt , she supported him in backing out..it was unfair to aaru but aaru is the one who lied all the way .her intention is to keep everyone happy while aaru wants to see herself happy, and duniya baaki dukhi rahe so that aaru derives sadistic pleasure out of it.

This recent Tilak thing, again she has lost it (like akshu loses her brains around aaru) , but abhimanyu never said she is right or blindly agree ...he said cancel Tilak ... Their world rolls with threats threats and more threats. 😆 All of them. I feel dumb discussing them 😆
